I resumed, "Sweetheart, I don't intend to complain about or critique what happened over the past year. If you think we NEED to talk about that year, of course we will, but let's do that some other time, OK? For myself I'd rather put it behind us. Laura: "Absolutely, Dan. I loved the person you became, the sweet, caring, helping person I called Danielle."
Time to try again I thought. "That's all I need to hear. I spent the last year literally on my knees to you, but if you want, I'll get down on them again—for the third time, will you marry me, Laura?"
"Oh, God, if you'll still have me, yes." She practically threw herself into my arms, and we had to maneuver around the table to embrace.
A long time, with considerable tears and kisses, later, she pushed away enough to look at me and say, "I do have one request though. It's not a requirement, of course—if anything, you're the one who has the right to make demands of me. But, is there any chance that, once in a while, Danielle might appear again?"
I couldn't help but grin. "I think I'm going to be jealous of Danielle, if you'd rather spend time with her instead of Dan. But, tell me, why do you need Danielle? If you want a second paralegal to spell Jenny, I'll hire one for you—one without children! Have to pay her a bonus to put up with you, though. As for intimacy, Dan's perfectly willing to use his tongue on you if that's what you want."
A bashful smile from the love of my life: "Well, I'd like that, of course, but I was thinking more in terms of gossiping and shopping with my girlfriend Danielle. . ."
Dan: "Well, we'll see. But nowhere near your law firm, and no more chastity cage!"
"Of course not—we have to make up for a lot of lost time in love-making."
"The only thing I wanted to say to you about the past year was, sometimes you talk too much! Shut up and kiss me again, we have a lot of that to make up, as well."

I love the story because it shows another part of your universe but the premise is lacking (why not play slave for a month without all this "official" around?) and what is worse, the characters, especially Laura, are lacking. It would have helped to learn more about her feelings. If she never had a slave before it would be interesting to learn about commanding Dan around (hint: it's something totally different than playing domme and something that should do something to her too). Anyway it was fun to read and I hope for new stories soon.
I don't know about this. I think she went way too far with months of feminization. I don't think that extreme would be needed to give Dan the understanding of how the other half lives and become more sensitive and less entitled. He could have worked on soup kitchens and possibly lived in a homeless shelter instead.
I really can't see the rapid resolution of the relationship. I think there would have been some serious, at least temporary, damage done to Dan's psyche as he tried to adjust to going back too his old life, even with his attitudeadjustment., and possibly damage (guilt) to her. I feel this was a little too "happily ever after." Some pain after the self-inflicted enslavement could have been an interesting exploration.

Ughh! Where's the balance here? He should have disappeared for a year letting her suffer in guilt. Then he should have required some retribution for their overdueing it. It's obvious that she really didn't care for him putting him in humiliating and dangerous situations. A generous 2.
Didn’t like the ending very beige. She doesn’t deserve him. If he’s as smart as the story suggests he would realize this.
I really liked that it was 100% believable, and didn't go over the top like so many similar female control stories have a tendency to do. She brought his descent into submission along slowly and gradually.
Another good point was that it wasn't a blow a minute spank fest, into which many stories dissolve.
