"I never thought of that. I'll think about that. I will make some rules for when we have guests over by tomorrow afternoon. Fair?"

Ava walked back into the room. "Finished?" She gave me a simple nod with a big smile. She came and stood in front of me, not wanting to automatically assume she had permission to get back on my lap.
"It is ten-thirty; you have just over ten minutes of free time left. Is there anything else you would like to do before your time is up?" I asked her.
"Can I spend them in the shower with you?"
"Sounds wonderful to me." I picked her up and carried her to a nice warm shower.
