Ryan ran out the door before his mom said anything else. He got in his car and drove to the chinese restaurant that wasn't too far from his place. He checked his watch and saw that he had 14 minutes before Maddy got home. He began to sweat as he ran into the restaurant. He quickly ordered the food and kept checking his watch as the food was being cooked.

His watch said 4 minutes before Maddy was going to get home. The food finally came out with the soda and he paid for it quickly and rushed out of the restaurant. He jumped into his car and sped back to the house. He parked the car and walked inside in a hurry.
