The Valkyrie Project - Chapter 10

In the week since Jamie and Jesse had seen what was informally called The Sepulcher of the Spear, things had progressed. Rachyle squirmed in the front seat of Sandy's car her nano suit straining to contain her arousal. In the back Jamie and Jesse were practicing a meditation and breathing exercise to allow them to control their arousal and bodies as part of their own pre-Valkyrie training. The very thing that Rachyle had ultimately failed.

Sandy chuckled "Honey you'd best join the girls in their meditation, we've got a few before we get there. I know you're excited, but remember Amy was told that you died."

Rachyle nodded "I know, but... even if this is temporary parole and I have to go back tonight. I get a few precious hours."

Sandy nodded "Mmhmm, and your baby girl who is cute as a button, and rambunctious as both of her mothers"

Rachyle had been starting on the meditation when those words hit her like a sabot shell to the heart, immediately cooling her arousal. Nobody had told her she had a daughter in all that had gone on. The reality was it was a deliberate albeit sightly cruel policy, intended to keep the interned Valkyrie from trying to escape by limiting their emotional attachments. But in Rachyle's case it seemed that her baby girl, in combination with the experimental collar around her neck, had restored perfect control.

Sandy noted the sudden change in pheromones, previously the car had bordered on 'starting an orgy horny' but it now shifted to 'purely chaste' in a matter of moments limited only by the HVAC of the vehicle. While it was an interesting point it wasn't one that could be extrapolated to every Valkyrie interned. But it boded well for Rachyle at least.

Rachyle was deep in meditation when Sandy looked over next, the Valkyrie raised and eyebrow and sent a picture of it to Tina and Valentina via her suit comms just as Jamie reached over and checked the collar having ended her own meditation. The picture ended up showing that the collar was operating automatically and at minimums, e.g. Rachyle was in full control at that moment.

Jesse looked up and saw the same "Curious, we'd always assumed that children would trigger a fierce maternal instinct. But maybe we'd have been best off to trust your own experience." She observed softly behind Sandy.

Sandy laughed at the irony "It was because of me that we made that assumption. Remember I bull nosed my way in because the enemy had hurt my son and killed my husband and baby, it was about revenge. I took pure pleasure in fucking every single one into submission like the little fuckers they were." The pheromone tempo of the car changed again suddenly picking up as Sandy remembered her first outing as a Valkyrie.

Jesse looked at Jamie who was checking the collar again curiously "No change, she's in control." Jamie responded to the unasked question.

Sandy realized what was happening and reasserted her own self control "Ooops" she blushed.

"Nah, it's a good datum" Jamie responded. She was pouring over data on her pad before handing it to Jesse. Her wife chewing on her lip a bit as she scanned over the anomaly that was the current situation. It appeared that the collar they had worked so hard on did work, but the long term solution was possibly one that as all had acknowledged had been previously dismissed. But this likely wouldn't help those down in the 'sarcophagus' under Valentina's care.

The car pulled into the driveway and Rachyle opened her eyes. "Did you tell her yet?" She asked the three softly.

"No" Sandy responded, as the officer in charge of the operation she'd kept secrecy as the 'entombed' Valkyrie's existence was still very classified. Sandy handed Rachyle a hoodie and mask "Put that on, even at night someone might recognize you."

Rachyle nodded and donned both before exiting the vehicle. Amy sat on the front porch of the base officer's housing rocking her baby in the warm night air. She smiled and waved to the group as she got up to welcome them inside, smooching her Mother, Sister, and Sister-in-law affectionately and giving each playful and quite lewd gropes as they went inside.

"OK mom, who are you trying to set me up with this time?" She said as she closed the door. A picture of Rachyle and Amy at their graduation hanging next to it. The bold of the door closed and locked. Amy turned back to her mother with resignation before turning to the masked Rachyle who was looking around in aw her her own wife's home, a life she'd not been able to be a part of. "I'm sorry, my mother keeps trying to set me up on dates after I lost my wife about a year ago, I'm just not in a place emotionally where I'm ready to do..." Rachyle had turned around and was looking Amy in the eyes. Amy's knees went weak for the first time in years. "But... how?" she asked as Rachyle pulled back the hoodie and shook out her hair before removing the mask.

Rachyle moved quickly to catch her wife before anything happened "It's... not actually a long story, but I'm here now." she whispered as her arms wrapped tightly around her lover and their daughter.

The silence was broken by Alicia who asked the awkward question "Momma, who dis?" as she played with Rachyle's locks.

"Baby... remember when I told you about your other momma? The one that didn't come home" Amy tried to explain.

Alicia looked precociously at a mother she'd never seen before except in pictures and looked for a moment "Oh, you're momma Rachyle!" she exclaimed before leaning down to give her new mother a kiss on the forehead.

"Yes I am, and who are you cutest mine?" she asked her daughter, meeting her for the first time.

"I'm Alicia!" the toddler exclaimed and giggled. Hugging her arms around Rachyle's shoulders as the rest of the room took a collective sigh of relief.

Rachyle cemented this memory into her mind, this was what she would fight for. Now that she'd had it once she'd be damned if she didn't do everything she could to get it back and keep it.

Across the room Jesse and Jaime noted the change in the Valkyrie, once unable to hold back her base instincts for any extended length of time Rachyle was now in complete control. That didn't mean they were ready to take off the collar. But it was far more than they'd expected. They were engineers and were quite used to failure. Rachyle hadn't been their only attempt but she was the only successful one thus far.
