Hello, you naughty girls and boys!

Hope all of you are doing well.
This update is a little late as I intended to post something early February and we’re already over halfway through the month! But that’s probably due to my hopes that things will turn around. I’m afraid the news I have to offer isn’t encouraging. I knew January would have no new work and I was thinking February might be the same, and alas, as most of it is already gone I can safely say, nothing new this month. If I’m honest, and I do try though my optimism sometimes runs afoul, there isn’t likely to be anything new in March either.
What I may be able to get done are simply edits of my currently offered stories. These won’t be big story changes but rather mostly fixing typos and missing commas, and a little rewording here and there. I do know of a least one story that does need a more significant edit. In rereading it comes off a little short and maybe even a little rushed. But that too won’t see any work in the immediate future.
I really, really need to work on some things and I need to focus a lot and stop worrying about writing right now. I won’t be stopping for good, but I really can’t even just ‘do a little’ as even that tends to grow and take more of my time. I will confess I still make the occasional note for a story idea, but no significant writing is really being done and won’t be for weeks to come.
So where does that leave us? Mostly it just leaves us waiting I’m sorry to say. Nothing for February and just to save us all the potential anxiety, nothing new will be offered in March either. I’ll touch back sometime in April. When I have solved some issues and I’m ‘ready’ again, I will let everyone know. When we reach that point, at that time I will also update with some idea of what’s coming next. For those with a strong preference for which series I work on, or if you’d prefer something new, let me know. I’m not going to be checking often and won’t be responding for some time, but when I do get back, those requests will help shape where my efforts go.
And for those interested, this halt in my work is also halting my efforts on Amazon. I have Helga 1-5 as a bundled set and 6 is also available, but nothing ‘new’ is showing up there either.
I *might* take the time to put up a temporarily closed message on the website for those few souls who may pass by. The website itself, like everything else, is currently on hold.

I truly hope everyone is doing well and wish I had better news to offer. But ‘dems da breaks! Maybe by April I’ll be ready to get back on track. A big thanks to all my fans.
