the one who loves me above all else
when I am not even being loveable.
who reaches out, touches me
fresh from sleep, hair in a mess
in an old comfy dressing gown
and says "Morning beautiful".
the one who has watched me flirt
outrageously because it's a fun thing
but knows I always return, laughing
flushed with success to the waiting
arms of my only love .. my rock.
