Hey, really good stuff! Of course there's a bunch of sexy shenanigans going on, but what I really liked was the level of thought and detail you put into the ethical side of the story. Not that it would ever be possible to fully justify sexual use of such a power, but it's fantasy so that doesn't really matter.
I appreciate that you seemed to put good effort into explaining why the old man chose the guy, and then the guys moral decision making afterward. Because you did such a good job of building the anticipation to what I (wrongly) thought was going to be the main event, I really wanted to read how Catherine and Kate got their minds blown by Ralph physically, and mentally using his triggers.
You just went in another direction and concentrated on Ralph and Kate the morning after. Which is perfectly fine because it is your story after all and you can do whatever you want.
There is no right or wrong way to write the story, just different opinions.

But it seems odd that he would take advantage of his dead wife's friend, a woman who helped support him in his grief. Maybe her daughter or grand daughter would have been a better choice.
