Rockslyde, you're exactly right, but I think when you see the next chapter (currently awaiting approval) you'll see that there wasn't a more graceful place for a chapter break. This is all set-up for what I hope can be an ongoing series, so I hope you'll give me at least once more chance to impress you. :-)

However, it ended rather abruptly. I think you should have waited, written more, and submitted a more substitive story. This page was almost too short to be called a chapter. The writing is very good, maybe thats why I'm a bit flustered. I'm going to withhold my vote, you deserve a better score than I would be inclined to give at this moment.
