While watching I can only imagine Mathew could easily be this father figure - independent and private 'enough' to have other personal interests and not care what others believe in. You have crafted several new twists on an old theme into a very believable story line ... presented with care and respect for any male bonding introduction. I'm proud to say I met such a gentleman who carried himself such that I wanted to be like him, to know the experiences he lived and to be a part of his world.
