This was a very well written story. The character development was great and the ending made sense.

On a casual, lazy day, a while back, I was browsing through stories here, and a title caught my eye: Two Hundred Dollars. My interest was sparked and I thought "why not?!". So I opened the story and started what was to become one hell of a trip, imagining what happened, but also a nerve wracking waiting game for the next installment of the story. I loved it so very much, devoured every chapter as it came out and was left wanting more.

For now, I'm going to be throwing this into an e-book, adding a bonus chapter and some other stuff for my fans. So, no, it's not over in that sense. I love this story and the characters and I'm delighted that everyone liked the ending. As to whether or not I can legit continue their journey, I don't know. Time will tell.

Very well written! Great character development and their decisions and actions were not unrealistic either. I really enjoyed it. Very erotic too! Many chapters "worked" for me. 😉 Thanks for writing it!

I offer these observations in the spirit of helpfulness. The story read well but it was long and repetitive. The overall dialogue was good but reading the thoughts of insecure adolescents can take it's toll. All three acted like young teens playing after school in someone's basement, with their legalisms and pedantic rules, rather than 20 year old college students. Well, maybe that's the charm of nerdy youth but it made for tedious reading at tines.

Bailey 'topped from the bottom' while Kent seemed rather subby. When Bailey finally figures that out, Kent will likely start receiving spankings from Bailey. Bailey has a cold-bloodedness about her that could make her into a strong Dom. Laura is a true submissive who would eagerly take the cane, whether wielded by Kent or Bailey. I don't see many prospects for sexual three-ways, though, because Kent is too insecure to take the lead. Leadership would have to come from Bailey. Laura would be up for anything. If Kent had normal confidence and more of a sex drive, he could have had both girls sucking his cock many weeks ago. Both would have been apt and eager pupils, too. Alas.

Really loved this. From the start, the pacing and plotting and reveals were superb, the characterization was subtle and yet really strong and the flashes of humour were just spot on. A fantastic piece of erotica and a technically very strong piece of writing as well.

Two Hundred Dollars has been one of the most enjoyable stories I've ever written and it's gratifying to see how much other people enjoyed reading it. I'm especially glad that, despite there being no penetration until the last chapter, that everyone patiently followed along. I didn't think I could really pull of so many chapters of not-sex, but here we are and it worked out.

As for the BDSM aspects, I tried to take care that I didn't falsely misrepresent that community. While I'm not an expert, my understanding is that they are very careful about pleasing the "bottom". For some, it's a way for the person being spanked or tied up to have control of exactly what they're getting. Tops who don't follow the bottom's rules are quickly rejected. I tried to follow that pattern here. Should Kent push at Bailey's boundaries a little? Possibly, when he can clearly see that she's looking for him to do so. Should he actively do things she doesn't want? Well... no.

And sure, I could have had both girls sucking him off at some point, but I feel like that would have been me, the author, intruding on the direction the characters were taking. It would have violated Bailey's rules and made her feel like a prostitute, evaporating the central tension between the two main characters.

Great series—I really enjoyed it.

all you have to do is create a new debt. a simple bet between the girls and him. one that the girls are so sure that they will win. yet they don't. and now you begin to develop the relationship between both girls and him. yo can even throw in a little about the mom paying some of the debt too. This should turn easily into a poly story between the three characters. You can develop the sex between the three of them over several chapters.

I really enjoyed this series and that surprised me. I will say the ending between the two MCs was pretty weak and anti-climactic. Bringing Laura back in almost saved it, but it was a let down for me at the end.

Speaking as a sexually repressed 20-something, I really appreciated the pacing here. I’ve seen a lot of comments bemoaning their awkward slowness but it’s refreshing to see a couple (/throuple?) that took months to have penetrative sex while still being a sexy story.

Also, I’d been waiting for Carson to reveal he knew what was going on. :)

I can not believe I came for a quick read and now find my self in a small post-book depression. That does NOT usually happen on here.

Normally, when reading such works, it affords me less mental energy to substitute my images of the characters with people or faces I have seen before. It's the same with places. The "house of the family" usually looks the same to me in all stories, and the dorm room, and the university, and the mall...

Incredibly, your story is (after what, 15 years of reading these things online?) the first one in memory that did not allow those substitutions. The characters stood on their own and HAD to stand on their own. Impossible to project onto them any real-life approximations. I felt the same about the locations.

I had a great sense of exploration when reading this story, not just because the locations were "new". Topics of consent, the frameworks we all devise to get us through situations we are ill-equipped to deal with, relationships, perspectives, communication, and conflicting desires. All are topics which have captured, in my mind, a bit of illumination through this story. Nothing radical, but valuable still, and in the context of where I attained them, surprising.

All of that doesn't even begin to speak of how much I just enjoyed reading about these characters. I will miss them.

To say that this story has "changed my life" would probably be wrong and would definitely be melodramatic, so, to use a metaphor that Kent might enjoy, and because I fail to find a good way to show my appreciation:

You couldn't prevent the description of all those spanks becoming repetitious, but I never got bored. The characters developed, and you even managed to sneak in some serious ethical discussions. And I liked Carson's comments at the end. He thought he had them all figured out. Compliments are due. You, sir, are a writer.

There were times when I was really turned on and times when I just enjoyed learning about the characters. Honestly this was just a great read! Something about the writing style had me thinking until I figured out around chapter 20ish that it felt like it was written like Dune. Like 4 chapters later the main character referenced Dune and I almost died.
