. . . carrying a towel upon which to sit is required.
As one old girlfriend once commented, men are so nicely closed up down there. On an island such as this, the female population would be leaving traces of their bodily secretions on every sitting surface. Imagine how a woman would feel taking a seat which had just been vacated by another who had been sexually aroused or even freshly out of bed with her lover.
I’d love to visit such an island, but would regret not being able to go nude myself!
Topic aside, this is some of the best writing I've seen on Literotica. The attention to detail and the pacing is superb. I admit this is my first encounter with Sarobah because I pretty much limit my reading to this one category,. But as a former English major I'm greatly impressed with her skill..
Anonymous, thank you for the compliment. I tend to immerse myself in my fantasy worlds, hence the attention to detail.
ReedRichards, I had actually considered the towel issue. I thought that interrupting the narrative at every third paragraph to add "She carefully wiped the surface (etc.)" might slow it down too much :o)
I am really enjoying this story!!! Your writing is outstanding and the topic is very unique! Thank you!!
I'm a bit surprised that is not categorized as non-erotic, It's beautifully written, but is very careful to constantly point out the lack of eroticism in its own setting. It's more of an anthropological dissertation. And the extreme lack of hygiene is distracting. A towel or kerchief or the like could be mentioned as a normal accessory without having to describe every use in detail.
You've clearly given a great deal of thought to what this country is like. It rare to to see quality world building this thorough.
The cool night thought to be unexpected reminded me of Charlotte Amalie when I was on duty as the medical representative to the ship's Shore Patrol. I had to spend the night outdoors. It was okay until around 4 AM. Clothed but wearing a short-sleeved white shirt, your description made me feel a chill.
