I have no formal training as an editor, however I do have an excellent grasp on the English language and am worlds above that "spell-check" button. I can do some light structural editing, however I have ethical issues with this as I feel this type of editing can occasionally influence an author to extreme extents and any request for such work would have a higher chance to be rejected (likely with some excellent proof-reading done). I have no qualms with content of the story that I'm editing, so please don't hesitate on that account. I am also fluent in Russian and while I know there's a checkbox for these things, I feel that I need to include that I will not do any significant translation work (aka translate a Russian story into English). However, I'd be more than happy to translate some idioms into either language or help with research if it runs into non-translated material. I also have excellent contacts in the field of Russian literature that don't hesitate to take on translation projects, so I will also accept (and heavily screen) requests for that.
