Click hereAt the risk of spoiling whatever mental images my readers may have of Elise & Dr. Peters from my story Tease to Please, here is a quick render of the pair in the Laboratory hallway.
A preview of "Tease to Please Ch. 9"
Good preview, however I have to admit she does look like some kind of Barbie doll and as for him he has a bit of a stiff face. And as for the background itself it looks really realistic. Good work on the background spectually
Indeed a nice view, it makes the story more fun to read and have given my gf a few new pieces of clothing in her wardrobe :)
we both love the story, I as I´m getting my own intern this summer, my gf as she recalls her own time as an intern - she says it sounds a bit grey and dull compared to this lovely story.
I think it’s nice for the reader to catch a glimpse of the author’s vision of his (main) characters, to be able to ‘observe’ their physical appearance through the author’s mind’s eye, so to speak, and then to compare the images, one’s own, word-wrought from the virtual page, and the digitally rendered representation of the author’s mental one presently proffered.
And it’s plain quaint how these two images differ, I think, and moreover to differing degrees in relation to each one character, e.g. I was completely taken aback by Arthur’s appearance whom I’d imagined looking – entirely different (bulkier, bespectacled, in corduroy, out of formal attire, fair haired); curiously Elise’s appearance on the other hand is pretty much congruent to my mind’s image, though she looks a little old in the face for a 22-y-o in the render, I dare say, and a little bottom-heavy due to her rather staunch shanks (a/o diminutive shoulders). If asked, I’d imagined Arthur to be weightier and more ponderous (mirroring his ‘scientist’ outline) and Elise leaner and of a more svelte built (mirroring her ‘yoga instructor’ outline).
Nonetheless, it’s a seldom joy to be able to grasp this directly at the author’s imagination.
Thank you for this fetching couple,
Auden James
