use only finest vellum sheets
insist upon a firm hand grip.
Beware the biro's flirty glance
and never lie within her box
for tainted remnants still adhere
from using foul inferior stocks.
So when your ink is getting low
and scratching only, is the norm
remember then to cross your tees
while you're still able to perform.

at the clever use of rhyme in this poem. The whole this is terrific and I might have given it an E if I had been the editor. I may be ( part of) a minority , but I love poems about writing.

A wonderful poem! I read it over many times. I see hints of an underlying different meaning but I could be wrong. Whatever, it flows beautifully! Very well constructed! I liked it!
The perspective makes it intriguing--advice to a pen. No nonsense and without overused words. Just a good poem, UYS.
