Being shown a brand new exciting life
The restraints that were around my heart
Suddenly brake free
Able to smile I’m full of laughter
But I knew there’d be no happily ever after
Moments like ours will never be repeated
When you left my world and soul were depleted
Hot tears now fill my eyes
Especially when I think about all the lies
No one will change what you and I share
But the moment she came in the picture
I was no longer there
Good enough for a blip in time
But not to show people you were mine
