An Intimate Reunion

It was the summer of 2019 when my mother told me a bunch of her family members wanted to have a reunion, as there were plenty of her relatives that hadn't seen each other for many years. I wasn't too enthusiastic about meeting family that lived miles away from us and that we hadn't ever met, but mom insisted that we attend.

Dad had passed away five years before so those who never met him would not be getting the opportunity to do so. Mom never remarried but I know she was so lonely without Dad. Her friends are always fixing her up with different people, but nothing ever materializes. I think she prefers living alone and enjoying her solitude in spite of not having anyone to share her bed with.

My mother's great aunt had a 'plantation' as they called it in the suburbs of Atlanta and graciously volunteered to have the festivities held on her spacious grounds. There were huge tents set up and plenty of land to hold various games and activities for everyone. There was a huge barn where she had a few horses and other animals.

For weeks on end Mom lectured me about being polite and saying hello to everyone and joining in on the various events they were planning. It sounded totally boring to me. Anyway, we made the road trip from upstate New York to Atlanta and checked into the hotel that was only a few miles away from the plantation.

My mother's cousin, Angela met us in the lobby of the hotel. She brought her daughter, Megan who is around my age and her best friend, Alex to attend the reunion. Although Alex was a female, it was apparent that she was definitely gay. She had a butch look about her and dressed kind of masculine. I couldn't tell if Angela and Alex were a couple, but they were definitely comfortable with one another.

We all went to lunch together and I enjoyed getting to know Megan and Alex, and of course, my mom's cousin, Angela.

During the lunch, my mother asked a lot of pointed questions to Angela about her friend. It was so embarrassing. I think she wanted to know if they were 'together'. Angela never let on whether she was or not. Megan and I hit it off as we had a lot in common and were not thrilled over being dragged to this reunion.

Alex seemed to take a liking to my mom. I think it was because my mother was relentless with all the questions she was asking her. Alex must have thought she liked her, but knowing my mom she was just being nosey.

As we left the restaurant I took my mother aside and told her,

'Mom, why are you so interested in Alex? Stop prying into her personal business.'

'I'm just being friendly dear. Why is it an issue?'

'Well, you can tell that they are 'together', can't you?'

'No. I don't think they are.'

'Come on mom, Alex is gay. Anyone can see that!'

'Well, I know Angela isn't. I think you're wrong, but it doesn't matter. She seems lovely. I'm glad she's here and coming to the shindig tomorrow'.

'Mom, be careful what you say to her. She is going to think you are hitting on her.'

'Don't be ridiculous! Of course I'm not 'hitting' on her. How silly'.

That night we all gathered in the lobby of the hotel and made plans for the following day. Angela insisted that the adults go into the bar and have a few nightcaps before going to bed. Megan and I went up to her room to catch a movie on Netflix while the elders went to the bar.

It was extremely obvious that Alex had the hots for my mom, even though she didn't come right out and say it. I don't understand why my mom couldn't see it, but I could. I took the opportunity to pull Megan aside and flat out asked her if Alex was her mother's partner, now that her Dad was passed..

'Oh, no. They are just best friends. And incase you are wondering, Alex is gay, but she isn't with anyone right now.'

'Wow, I kind of thought that, but my mom is so naive that she doesn't even realize that Alex is hitting on her.'

'Do you want me to say something to my mom?'

'No, mom can handle herself if Alex gets brazen enough to ask her out'.

'My mom and Alex have been friends for years as they went to college together. She is like part of the family now especially since my Mom and Dad got divorced.'

'Wow, that's cool. I really do think she likes my mom though'.

'You might be right, but I'm sure Mom will not allow her to have any interest in her cousin.'

Back in the hotel lobby:

"Come on lets all enjoy that drink you promised me', Alex said as she positioned herself between the two ladies and raised her elbows for them to grab onto.

'So, how long have you known Angela?' mom asked Alex.

'We were roommates in college and kept in touch all these years'.

'Wow, Angela never mentioned you.'

'That's because Alex moved out to the coast and we were busy raising our families here in New York', Angela offered.

After ordering drinks, Alex excused herself and went to the restroom. It was Katy's opportunity to ask her cousin all about Alex and their relationship.

'So, what gives Cuz? Are you swinging the other way now?''

'Of course not! Alex has been my friend forever. Just because she is gay doesn't mean I am. I will admit that I did have a terrible crush on her, and we did fool around after a frat party one weekend in our senior year, but we never bring it up. She plays around a lot, never sticking to one girl. You know the type,' Angela offered.

Katy turned her gaze away from her cousin, as she was embarrassed thinking of Alex and Angela making out together.

"Wow, Does John know about your little escapade with Alex?'

'Of course not! Why would I tell him? It was only that one time, and I hardly think it counts as it was before we were married. It certainly can't compare with all the indiscretions he had while we were married!'

'I don't know Angela, now that you are divorced maybe Alex wants to get reacquainted with you.'

'I doubt that really, and besides, I don't look at her romantically. She's just a close friend'.

"What did I miss?' Alex asked as she pulled out a chair and joined the group.

'Oh, nothing much. I was just telling Katy about our college years.'

'You didn't'! Did you tell her all of it?'

Angela turned all shades of red as she sipped her Cosmo trying to hide her embarrassment.

"Yes. But I told her it doesn't count as we were both very young and not to mention very hung over at the time.'

'I think it counts, but it's all in the past now'.

Katy was enthralled with Alex. She had never had a physical relationship with another female, straight or gay. The conversation focused on a bunch of questions Katy threw out at her.

'So, when did you know you liked girls", she asked

'When I was 10 in the 4^th grade. I had a terrible crush on a cute little red headed girl. Of course I didn't know what the attraction was all about. I just knew I wanted to be around her all the time. Then in high school I just wasn't attracted to the boys like all of my friends were.'

'Did you come out to any of them?' Katy asked.

'No, it wasn't until my college years that I started to pursue other females. What's your story? I know you are a widow, but did you ever think of being with another woman?" she outright asked Katy.

"Me, NO, Never. I always had boyfriends in school and was never really romantically drawn to females.'

"Too bad. I like you and we could have given it a whirl'.

Katy just continued to sip her drink and ignore Alex's comments, but she was thinking about what her daughter had said about how she could tell Alex admired her and would probably try to make a move.

Angela snapped at Alex, "Leave my cousin alone, please! Try to control yourself this weekend!"

"But she is really hot and I like talking to her'.

"Too bad. Find someone else in this bar', Angela snapped.

'I can handle myself, Angela', Katy offered.

'I know you can, but Alex gets crazy and is horny all the time. I wouldn't put it past her to try to hit on you'.

'Listen, I want to know some things about being with another women, Alex."

"Sure. What do you want to know?'

"Like how is it different kissing a woman rather than a man?'

"Well, it's softer. Women usually aren't as aggressive so they are slower and more gentle and they linger more over a kiss to savor it and not just rush through the formality. Most guys are only interested in getting in your pants and not taking their time when they make love to a woman. Where as a woman enjoys foreplay and longs for her lover to take their time with them and besides, women are much more caring and compassionate. They know what it takes to turn them on.'

Katy had a dreamy look about her as Alex explained what it would be like to make love to another woman.

'I never thought of that. Tell me more", Katy said.

"I think she has already said too much! Now I'm starting to get turned on!' Angela said jokingly.

'Well, being a woman myself, I know what a woman likes. I don't rush it. Girl's bodies are just more sensual than guys. They have silky curves that feel wonderful against my naked skin and they always smell fantastic. I take my time and treat them gently, unless of course they prefer it rough, but most of the time they like the slow gentle approach.'

'I guess it makes sense', Katy said avoiding looking directly at Alex.

"Enough of this talk now. Lets say our good nights as we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow', Angela said.

'But I'm not done with my drink and I have so many more questions to ask Alex'.

'Well, I'm going to turn in. You two enjoy yourselves, but not too much!' Angela said as she got up and headed towards the door.

"Ok. See you in the morning then. Say 9 for breakfast?' Alex yelled to Angela.

"Yes, Yes. See you then. And please behave yourself', she added.

"I'm not making any promises!" Alex jested.

Katy and Alex continued to talk about their lives and past experiences and it seemed Katy was just as interested in Alex as Alex was in her.

After another hour or so, Katy said her good nights and told Alex she really enjoyed her company. As they stood up from their seats, Alex leaned in and kissed Katy right on the lips. At first Katy was startled but broke away from her and nervously whisked her own hair back as she made a b-line to the door saying "Good Night- Good Night", leaving Alex standing there watching her flee as fast as she could.

That night as Katy lay in bed, she couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to be intimate with Alex. She certainly felt that unmistakable tingle as Alex explained how she would be with another woman and then the kiss! And Alex made no denials that she admired her as she told Angela she thought her cousin was 'hot'.

Closing her eyes she tried to put it out of her mind and ignore the sexual feelings she was having for Alex, of all people. Maybe it wasn't such a far-fetched idea of being with her even if it was just for the experience, she thought to herself.

The reunion was the next day, Saturday, when everyone would meet at the plantation. There were so many relatives Angela and Katy hadn't seen in years. As Katy dressed that morning she was consciously thinking of how she would look and what outfit Alex would find her 'sexy' in. For the life of her she couldn't understand why it made such a difference when it came to meeting up with Alex that day. It must have been the kiss. Katy figured that if she acted non-chalant about it, Alex would think she accepted her outright flirting. Or, she could reciprocate in hopes that they would eventually get together and Katy could see for herself what the girl-girl thing was all about. After all, her curiosity was certainly peeked after the racy conversation she had the night before.

They met at the hotel's restaurant that next morning at 9:00AM

Alex, true to form, commented as soon as Katy and her daughter were in her sights.

"Wow, you ladies look fantastic!'

'Well, thank you Alex. How did you sleep last night Ang?" she asked her cousin.

'Like a rock. How about you, did you guys talk all night?'

'No, just a little while longer after you left', Katy told her cousin.

'I invited Katy up to my room, but she didn't accept my offer!' Alex teased.

"She did not!' Katy stammered not wanting her cousin to think she spent time with Alex.

Katy's daughter had that shocked look on her face when she yelled "Mom!" as soon as Alex made that comment.

"She's only joking Amanda, relax!"

Taking her mom aside she warned, "I told you she was gay and that she liked you, didn't I?"

"Yes, you did, but don't worry. I can take care of myself".

"Well, I'm going to make sure you two aren't alone today.'

'Amanda, seriously, it's ok. I like her and enjoy her company.'

After breakfast we all headed in the van to the plantation to get the party started. Alex made sure she sat next to Katy for the hour ride to the plantation.

After being introduced to so many people, the younger girls changed into their swimsuits and headed for the pool. Most of the adults were gathered around the picnic area taking pictures and exchanging family stories.

Spending most of the afternoon in the water, the teenagers went inside the massive house to change back into their clothes and find their moms. As they approached the picnic area they saw Angela conversing with some older relatives but there was no sign of Katy or Alex. Amanda asked Angela where they were and she said they went on a boat ride around the lake.

On the boat ride, Alex was concentrating on making an impression on Katy and it seemed to be working. All the flattering and attention Alex was giving was well received as no one had paid that much attention to her since her husband's death 5 years ago. Katy was eating up the compliments and winks from Alex from the time they met at breakfast. Alex knew just what to do as she continued her quest to seduce Katy.

Amanda and Megan made their way down to the dock to see if they could find Alex and Katy. Sure enough, they were there sitting on a bench overlooking the lake.

"Hey Mom,' Amanda shouted. "Why aren't you guys with the rest of the old folks?'

"Excuse me? We just got back from a boat ride around the lake. We are heading up there now to get some food'.

"Ok. I'll walk back with you if that's alright with you Alex," Amanda said sarcastically,

"Of course. I'm heading up there too."

When they arrived at the tent where the food was being served, Alex sauntered up to Katy's side and said, "I don't think your daughter likes me".

"Don't be ridiculous. Of course she does. She is just very possessive that's all. Especially since she lost her Dad".

"Can I sit with you for lunch?"

"I would love that', Katy responded batting her eyes at Alex.

Katy and Alex sat across from each other and Megan and Amanda sat next to them.

Keeping the conversation light, Alex engaged Amanda and started asking her about school and things young teenage girls want to talk about.

While she spoke directly to Amanda, she slipped her foot out of her sneaker and began sliding her big toe up Katy's bare leg. Touching her ever so lightly and sensually.

At first Katy became wide-eyed and embarrassed, but that did not stop Alex from inching her way up to her thigh. The expressions on Katy's face were priceless. She was enjoying the gentle caresses Alex's big toe was providing but didn't want to let on that she was thoroughly enjoying what was happening under the table.

Not hearing her daughter ask her a question, Amanda shouted,

"Earth to Mom! What's gotten into you today?"

"Oh, I'm sorry dear. I was just concentrating on something else.'

"Obviously"

Katy was smitten over the sexual tension that was developing between her and Alex. As much as she didn't want to get involved, the more she welcomed the sexual innuendoes Alex was dishing out. For the first time she felt those erotic feelings that had been dormant for so long, pulsating between her thighs.

'Lets join the others as I haven't spent any time with my other cousins', Katy said.

With that they headed over to the picnic tables where there was an outside bar set up and music streaming from some very large speakers.

"There you are!' Angela said to Katy and Alex as they walked over to her.

'I want you to meet some of the other relatives from Dad's side.'

Grabbing Katy's arm, Angela whisked her away from the others and headed towards a crowd of people.

"Do you want to take that boat ride around the lake?' Amanda asked Megan.

"Beats hanging with a bunch of old people we don't even know!"

They left Alex standing there to fend for herself and headed towards the lake.

A few hours later Katy scanned the grounds looking for Alex who she hadn't realized was now no where in sight.

"Hey, Angela, have you seen Alex lately?'

"No, come to think of it, I haven't. I wonder where she has wandered off to? I hope she is behaving herself and not hitting on anyone else!" Angela said.

"She's not hitting on me, Angela! She is just very friendly. I don't mind and I really enjoy her company'.

"I know you do, but I also know Alex. She has the hots for you and she won't stop until she has you in her clutches and then in her bed! She is relentless and never takes No for an answer."

"Don't be ridiculous!' was all Katy could say, all the while secretly imagining what it would be like to actually make love to Alex.

Suddenly, Katy remembered Alex saying she wanted to check out the horses while they were on the boat ride. Perhaps she went over to the barn and was still there, she thought. Katy excused herself and walked the 1/2 acre across the field to find her.

Peering into the open aired barn, she called, "Alex, are you in here?"

"Katy?"

"Yes. Where are you?"

Looking up into the rafters, Alex poked her head out said, " I'm up here. Come up. It's incredible".

'What are you doing up there? Are you alone?' Katy asked

"Of course I'm alone!. Just taking a little nap and enjoying the peace and quite of the countryside.'

Katy began to climb the wooden ladder that led up to the rafters when Alex extended her hand for Katy to grab onto. As she reached the top, they both tumbled onto the pile of hay. Helping Katy to her feet and walking her over to the open door shaft at the very top of the barn, Alex said,

"Check this out!' The view was incredible as you could see the entire plantation for miles with its' huge green hills in the distance.

"Wow. It really is beautiful up here." Katy remarked as Alex grabbed her hand and swung her around.

"Just like you..." she said and with one arm around her waist and the other on her shoulder Alex dipped Katy backward as she passionately kissed her until they both lowered themselves onto their backs landing on the soft bed of hay.

Katy didn't hesitate to kiss Alex back. She succumbed to all the sexual advances that had been building since they first met, and just relaxed under the grip Alex had on her. Their tongues wildly explored each other as they became lost in the rapture of their kiss. It had been the first time Katy was romantic with anyone since her husband. Wrapping both her arms around Alex's neck she continued to explore kissing another female for the very first time.

Alex reached under Katy's blouse and began to massage her breast while Katy started to moan.

"Oh Alex!' Katy exclaimed.

"I want you", Alex whispered into her ear.

"I think I want you too", she responded as she closed her eyes and continued to enjoy the long passionate kisses Alex planted down the one side of her neck and down to her cleavage.

That was all Alex needed as she saw it as the 'green light' to have her way with Katy. She unhooked Katy's bra and nervously fumbled getting her blouse unbuttoned. Within seconds Katy was naked on top while Alex licked and sucked at her breasts, as she was suddenly became overwhelmed with desire. Katy began to moan louder as Alex ran her other hand up her thighs and between her legs feeling her way to Katy's aching sex.
