The Auction

About the auction itself I'm not sure how much I'm supposed to tell because it's a private event for the BTS executives and this report is really mostly for John. You know as part of my therapy, the way I write things up after a visit. It helps track my progress, although it's also because I forget so much in between. So I'm not sure how much to say.

I tried to ask Barney the day after the auction but said he didn't know. Later on after I got to know him better he said Jevon would want me to give enough detail that John could help him, help Jevon I mean, with girls in the future, but would also want me to make sure not to embarrass any of the brothers and that I should be discreet and to use my own judgment. And there was the word again, "discreet."

Which, even if using my own judgment is not exactly my strong suit, I'll try to do it the way I think Jevon would want. Then maybe I can ask Jevon to read it before John, to make sure I didn't make any mistakes in the discretion department. Here goes.

Dinner was no big deal for us girls. We all looked pretty cute in the French maid outfits and hardly had to do anything except carry a few plates to the brothers. That and make sure the liquor and wine bottles were replaced when they were close to empty. Or run to the bar for a drink if one of the brothers wanted something different. Pretty easy.

For the most part the guys were just really nice and appreciative and supportive and funny and cool. Course it was different for me to be in what is called the "minority," like there were all these black men and just us 5 white girls and at first it was a weird feeling and I kept remembering how my Dad would say to be careful around them, meaning black people but especially black men I think, cause they were "different." But after a few minutes of serving I hardly noticed that.

They didn't seem very different to me, just like the kind of executive guys Dad sometimes brought home from work to have dinner with us, white executives I mean. Except black. And like I said, they were really very appreciative of all of us girls and pretty cool too. And a number of them were quite handsome even if maybe not as handsome as you know who at the top of the table. So it turned out to be a pleasure to be a minority serving their needs.

The hurrying paid off then. Jack peeked in and told Beth we had about 4 minutes till we needed to get out - that Jevon was still making his remarks to the guys, so we still had plenty time for hair and makeup and outfits and such. So then we got to relax a bit under the hot spray.

You can see a lot in four minutes. And I have to admit I spent almost all of it on Beth. I think the other girls were doing it too, but I know I was. By now I was getting super nervous cause I was next after Maureen. I tried to stay hydrated and Beth kept whispering encouraging little things in my ear. And I kept repeating to myself what John had said in his note - no excuses, especially no T-node excuses, and that I should make him proud. I was breathing deep and slow to try to control things but even so it was mostly a blur.

I'd been so nervous about the bid but almost right away it got to $16,000 and then $19,000 and then $21,500 and it seemed like it was stuck there and Jevon was about to announce the sale when some other guy - I couldn't see him of course - shouted out $22.500 and then it went to $24,000 and $24,750 and my head was spinning then and finally it ended when that same guy went to $25,500 and that was it.

Then she had to hand me over to Jack cause she had to get ready herself even though I thought it would be impossible to make her any more pretty or any more desirable or sexy.
