A big thank you blackrandl1958 for organizing this event, and to all the readers and writers who make this site possible!
Papa Toad's story was great. Next time Papa, leave the scoring on. That was an easy 5. Most of the other stories were really good too. Many thanks for the stories.
Well, got thru them all, when the legends are writing it is so hard. Most scored 5/5 as expected, a couple scored 4/5, and sadly Papatoad 0/5. Wish I could have voted for him.
The best was Blackrandl1958, second was Dtiverson and tied third Amyyum and Hooked1957.
Thank you one and all for your fantastic contributions.
I look forward to the next challenge.
Some of the best stories this reader has seen in a long long time. Thank you all but where is George Anderson's contribution?
Papatoad would turn voting on.
I understand why he doesn't though.
Cudos, Papatoad.
My favorite authors all like to rise to the challenges, and provide hours of great reading. Thanks so much.
Mad props to BR's organizing and facilitating skills. But because the stories are released en masse so many authors are not getting sufficient comments as recompense for sharing. IMHO the stories should be released one or two at a time to get their slot to shine. Again thank you to BR for effort expended. KK might not ever write without her coaxing and encouragement. I know it isn't easy.
Any chance that someone could get StangStar06 to make a reappearance?
Hell he could even use an old 351c Cleveland 71 Mach 1 for fun (just get radials instead of bias ply).
