Metalwear Pt. 01

But Marla was convinced that her new product line would be as successful as her previous ones. And she was happily dreaming of revolutionizing the fashion industry with her new metallic materials.

"This is the twenty-first Century. And these clothes will be perfect for it. Mark my words." She preached, repeatedly.

Eventually Kelly reluctantly agreed, and they took it to the next level. Setting their staffs loose on the new challenge.

Kelly still had her doubts as to the viability of metallic clothing. She was also worried about how she'd be required to model the things as Marla produced them. Her experiences with both the leather and latex lines had been fun, but also difficult for her to handle. Not only because of her exposure, in the sexy clothes, but also because they always seemed to bring out her lover's domineering and fetishy side, at home and in bed. It did seem to work out, and she usually wound up enjoying herself, but...

It took them months to complete the designs for the first items. And all the while they worked like demons to gather the materials and establish the manufacturing facilities. It was very different from the textiles and leathers, but similar in many respects to the latex processes that they were used to.

Kelly spent long days over the period, coordinating with the suppliers in Germany and refurbishing their company's production, warehouse and distribution operations to handle the new product lines and materials. It was exhausting work, and she was constantly worried that Marla couldn't deliver on her promised new Metalwear designs.

During staff meetings it became obvious that the unique metallic materials and new manufacturing processes they demanded were an expensive challenge for everyone.

But while Kelly worried, Marla was confidently working just as hard on her new project.

Progress was being made, and that was the important thing.
