Alice closed the door behind her, kicking off her shoes and sprawling on the sofa. "Sheesh – what a day. What a week, actually."

Laura put a glass into her hand – "You've earned this" – and stood behind her, beginning to gently massage her shoulders. "That feels really good," murmured Alice. Laura's fingers slid inside the neckline of Alice's top, caressing collarbones then venturing lower onto smooth skin. Alice leaned back, resting her head on Laura's shoulder. "I could just go to sleep now."
