Today I uploaded the third, and final edited version of "Rogeringham" - an everyday story of simple Regency aristocracy and their incestuous affairs. Nothing major has been changed, but I used the 'read aloud' feature of MSWord to go through it from end-to-end and check the punctuation, and look for extraneous words and errors. The problem is with a story as long as that, is that you get involved so deeply, and worry about things like delivery and publication, that things slip pass you. That is where the read-aloud feature comes in useful. (Other word processor packages are available.) Now that that is done, I will look at finishing some other stories, including two - count them - 1, 2 - more chapters in the Inheritance saga! Thank you to everyone who has read, favourited and voted on Rogeringham. If you haven't yet done so, go and check it out. |
