While my Latin is not great, my knowledge of Roman history is. The probability would be that the husband would discover what had happened to his prize, have the stud who deflowered her executed (Yes the wife had him castrated and his tongue removed, but he was still alive.) then would have the head of the house slaves executed and do the same to his "loving wife". Under Roman law, he would have been well within his rights to do it all. Just a history geek's viewpoint.
