For I wouldn't have seen it. You make interesting observations in your work and put them in economy of words that the reader will continue to think more long after. I know you have a reason, but I'm still curious as to why you the Internet speak, "u'd" rather than "you'd" or "you would"?

Question: why you the Internet speak, "u'd" rather than "you'd" or "you would"?

Answer: It's rather known how awkward it is to write about your own poem (in principle, the poem is IT). Even when someone is eager to talk about their own poem, it is still awkward. However, after over 13 years since the question was asked, let me answer. If my gracious reader is not here then at least some other readers may appreciate my answer (as unlikely as it is that there are any).

My second of the three axioms of my external definition of poetry says:

*** every element of a poem has to contribute to poetry. ***

However, the pronoun "I" and the verb "would" -- don't. Thus it makes sense to minimize them.
