and a time to forget
memory washing over us
but we dare not relent.
Pictures torn and battered,
photos old and loved
crying over memories
wondering when it's enough.
Lives are lived and lost
lives are changed forever
of course we go on
with love left to remember.
As tears will fall,
and as tears will heal
the pain is great and
our love is real.

Just a little over 20 Years Later I think the Tears have finally started to Heal but then again for me personally the Nsync Song "This I Promise You" sort of helps just because of the Lyrics.

A fine tribute and remembrance of that time when the barbarians expanded their war on all civilizations.
Death and destruction depicted in the grim pictures that accompany this rendering. Thought provoking.
On almost a daily basis, Israeli soliders demolish Palestinian homes or murder Palestinian children using American-financed machinery and weapons. Were this not this case, I would have some sympathy.
