Then you turn away from me,
With a blank look on your face,
I think you’ve never cared,
Have the things I’ve said,
Ever meant anything to you,
Do they register at all in that shell you’ve built?
Around that heart and
Around that soul
All that you call you,
My words are like those grains of sand that fall from your hand,
As you brush them off,
