Worried

You had me worried for a minute there that Don would take her back. She cheated for a year and then went on a cruise, and thought he could forgive her? George's wife might be a fool, but not Don. Good story.

AnonymousAnonymousover 4 years ago

Entertaining. Didnt know where it was headed, and kept the audience on edge. Forshadowed nicely when both cheaters guessed what their spouses would do when they were caught, and both were actually right about it.

Shitty Ending

Author clearly doesn't understand his own story as the story feel so different from the first one.

PowersworderPowersworderover 4 years ago

I'm glad they didn't reconcile. If someone has a year-long affair, it shows they didn't give a fuck about their spouse.

Terry was a doormat to take George back... it was sad that she forgave him after he betrayed 26 years of fidelity. George was the one who seduced Brenda, so it was disappointing he barely had any consequences for destroying her marriage. I just hope Terry gets herself a nice big toy on the side to even the score, George finds out and gets his heart broken, before Terry then raped him in the divorce.

As for Don, refusing to take Brenda back fit with his character... but sleeping with her again? After her behaviour, he would have been too disgusted to even think about fucking that deceitful slut. I had hoped he'd end up with Carla... nothing like sticking it to a cheating wife, than banging her younger sister!

AnonymousAnonymousover 4 years ago
She would have gotten custody of the children over Don.

She would have gotten the house, alimony (unless she had a higher income) and child support.

I hate unbelievable stories where the cheated upon husband is the greatest man second only to superman. If he’s that perfect then he’s hiding something so dark, I would sooner believe he’s Jeffry Dahmer or Gacy because no one is that perfect.

Thanks to the author

We KNOW as the audience that the ex-wife was going to get back together with her lover eventually. Even after staring into the abyss, a divorce, two homes for the kids, her social life in tatters...she made that shitty joke.

That made what the husband did intuitively smart. She almost did all the right things to win him back. Not the seduction, that was garbage. A man doesn't want the woman that abused his trust and love, she's used goods. Giving him space was smart, and not screaming at him for his petty revenge was smart. She'd been cheating on him for a YEAR, not 'one time'. He'd be within his revenge rights to either has a free pass for life and not throw it in her face, or to rub her face in a dozen or so encounters with escorts. Maybe tie her up or force her to film it. That's how justified he is at this point, a facebook post was getting off fairly easy.

Her ultimate problem was she became an addict to the thrill. She still saw her cheating as something that's 'not a big deal'. You don't call an affair a mistake, a burned roast is a mistake. Cheating for a year is a year's worth of toxic decisions. It's not a 'one time thing'. And her little joke ultimately told us that she was HOOKED on the cheating sex. It wasn't the sex, it was the sneaking around adrenaline. Just like a true addict, she made excuses. You really feel badly for her, but actions have reactions. She needs to clean her mind, it's junkie city up in there.

You set up a reconciliation, . . .

. . . but didn’t let Don follow through with it, and I have to wonder why. Brenda was as contrite as she could be, everything was proceeding on that path, he could even make love with her, but he just couldn’t take that final step.

Everything written had Don getting past her affair, but unable to believe she wouldn’t cheat again. I would have thought that would have been easier than forgiving the affair.

With the story you wrote, I’d guess that at least half, and probably more than half, would have ended up with reconciliation. Cheating is bad, but losing your family is worse.

Stupid and sad. Those who judge will be judged...

Here is what will happen, Don will die alone, bitter and resentful. His children will be glad he is gone and if they care about him at all, they will go through the motions of dealing with his body. They will cremate him and leave him with the undertaker to flush down the toilet if they want. Unforgiveness, is met with unforgiveness. and judgement with judgement, on this Earth as well as the next. By the way, that is what we did with my sperm donor, he stopped being my father when he forgot what he preached every Sunday, that we are sinners in need of redemption and forgiveness. I lived in his house for five more years, I did not speak to him for the last three, I graduated without his being invited, I went to a university he never knew I applied to, met a man he never met and had children he never saw. After his funeral, my siblings and I finally met up with mom, and her new husband who knew her history and still married a repentant and wiser woman. We had a great time and never once mentioned the sperm donor.

Of course the author understood his own story.

His idea, his plot, his story to tell in the way he wants to tell it.

It was OK and quite realistic in the way it worked.

Thoughts

"He had made me look like a total slut who didn't give a shit about her husband and family" - He didn't MAKE you loo k that way, you WERE that way!

"He should have kept me from going on this stupid trip." - No, YOU should have kept yourself from going on it! If he stopped it this time, what happens the next time when he doesn't learn about it in time?

These wives who want their husbands to forgive them, I always want to know how readily they would forgive their husbands if the situation was reversed?

They keep saying it's the "first time." It's been going on for a fucking YEAR!

"I had never quit loving Don but had somehow got sucked into George's advances." - I'm sorry, that explains an initial tryst, but a year-long affair and a cruise goes FAR beyond "getting sucked in."

"Don, I am so very sorry for what has happened." - It didn't "happen," like a bad storm, you DID it! You should say, "I'm very sorry for hat I did."

When he said, "I thought you loved me," why didn't she say, "I DO love you?"

"I made a mistake, but I promise it will never happen again." - I know it's been said before, but she made a similar promise on their wedding day, and we've seen how that worked out.

Ending

I can understand trying to remain friendly for the sake of the children, that makes sense. Thanks for the final chapter, the story needed closure.

ONe thing I didn't like

She kept saying "he seduced me..." NO. SHE SEDUCED HERSELF!!

She didn't really ever seem to take full responsibility...So, not really a sympathetic heroine.

And George didn't seem authentic. He's so sage AFTER he's caught...and so sure that his wife will accept it.

Liked It

Realistic outcome. When there are children involved I like seeing reconciliation in others, but I would have probably gone the Don route. Made sure I was friendly with the EX, that she landed ok, we were ok with one another especially around the kids, but would've been hard to get back with her.

It was a very good ending. I would've been ok if they reconciled. The most important thing was that they both finally started behaving like they cared about the kids.

who said she would have gotten the kids, you know not every couple gets nasty and go into a fight. She was contrite and was willing to move out. It showed she had genuine remorse and accepted her role in the demise of the marriage. That helped the reconciliation with Don, as friends, and co-parents. Most people are decent, and most divorces settle out of court with the soon to be ex's cooperating to one degree or another (only 5% go to trial-had to look that up).

Sadly, no one ever knows the real quote, they just abuse it for their own prejudice

"For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. "

Since the husband did NOT cheat, and the wife did, one can certainly measure both in the same way. She's a cheating piece of shit, and he's not. There's nothing hypocritical about his not taking her back -- which is what Luke 6 is really about.

Now, can we stop with the half-assed, ignorant bible misquotes ? Especially in an erotic website ?

Brenda doesn’t get it

She couldn’t accept that you cannot "unwrong" a wrong until she came so close to seduce Don's heart and body, and blew it. She went too far in the affair and rightly got burned. She then tried to play him, knowing Don had always loved her, but Don didn’t love her enough to trust her and, if Brenda is honest with herself, she didn’t love Don enough to resist temptation. After she had embarked on that affair, and appeared to be getting away with it, she didn’t respect Don enough to consider his feelings. She was so far up her arse to even understand that his final appeal to her at her departure was clearly based on his knowledge of her affair. As for being hoisted on her own petard of social media, that was brilliant BTB material! It’s just George that seems to have got away with it, kept his job and marriage, until he finds another dumb gullible bitch to fall for his flirting. 5* for both episodes from me.

Waiting for the next meeting

There seems to be another ending waiting to be written. As you had them walking from the flight home you left Brenda and George looking forward to their next meeting.

"So, I guess that means you and I are through?"

George's head turned quickly, and he looked into my eyes with a shocked expression. Then he saw that I wasn't serious and relief came to his face.

Don my have Friended his ex-wife but all he will learn is that she hasn't changed and her love for him is just an expression of days gone by and she is ready to renew old friendships.

AnonymousAnonymousover 4 years ago
So the typical cheating wife - I'm sorry I got caught

But even though this is a fictional story it's hard to overlook the fact that he can't kick her out of the house. And in the divorce she's going to get custody, alimony, child support and the use of the house until the kids are 18. Your ending is just so improbable and unbelievable that it ruins the story completely. And I don't think this needed a second chapter. Readers are always crying for a second chapter if the least little thing isn't spelled out. But your first chapter was just fine and all the ending you needed. This was both poorly done and completely unnecessary.

There is hope.....

he was already confused as to whether he wanted her to stay or not. He clearly is still deeply in love with her. We also understand that despite her year long adventure, when the shit hits the fan she realizes her error and is remorseful, her love for her husband beaming through but too late. Elements for a recovery?? I think so.

Most couples with young children stay together and ultimately heal or separate when the kids are old enough. Who wants to give their children a broken home? Here, I feel when they were able to have sex after some months of separation, that it proves they wanted to be together again. All that needed to be solved was the trust, which can take years to rebuild. He left because of that....and so deleted any chance of the children having a stable home. A mistake is a mistake and it could have happened to him as well. But is it worth giving up everything? They both realized how important it was for the children, they knew the children loved them....

In the epilogue, after a year, she uses face book and offers the olive branch...and people accept it, including hubby. Here, I feel the writer could have continued and brought them back together (hopefully neither had started another relationship - unlikely given how much emotion and remorse was expressed). To say that the husband would be her friend but never get back together with her is a bit too harsh for me. I think a year is long enough for him to realize he missed her, she already misses him, and he also missed the family environment, so did the children. If they both spent a year still wanting each other (friending is a starting indicator of that for him), they might as well get together for the children and give themselves a chance.

If she really had become a serial cheater it would have been apparent (yes, a year long affair is bad but "it was sex only") by having several men. She clearly didn't love her lover as she was able to come back home and enjoy her family and husband. Her lover also was a first time cheater and loved his wife....and they got back together. They had an affair because it was a thrill and they could....it happens more often than you think. So I think the love was there but the cheating is cheating, no question. Not good at all but I think they could easily set up a system where they ensure that no doubt is created. And time is a healer, they would gradually get back to somewhere near their old lives and be much the wiser about their relationship. A year separated is a long enough sentence for them and the children.

Don did the right thing. She had an affair for over a year. Trust loss, marriage nuked. He would never been able to look at her and believe she loved him. You don't ever reclaim your wife by getting sloppy seconds. Bottom line, she was a skanky wife and mother.

I'm glad

They did divorce. Would hate to think a year of cheating could be forgiven.

You write well and provide a realistic story and character reactions, thoughts and emotions.

I cannot see to being in any way in tune with the cheater's thoughts. Regardless of the reason for cheating there is never remorse until caught. She did not stop the sex, it was caught by the spouses. Tells me hubby is correct, she could never be trusted again.

IJ, I'm just glad you did not make Don a cuck, he deserved much better. This last part was melodramatic for me, it lacked the 'lasting' impact of the children and her family.

If IJ desired to make a point with this segment it needed to encompass the totality of what she did to her family - not gloss over it. +1yr deceptive affair is hard for anyone to stomach - and per the story the VP got a virtual free pass, yet he caused/funded the whole CHEAT!#$%^&(^%$#.

We can assume Don NOW has a serious woman trust issue to overcome but what about the kids?

This is where so many LW stories fail - the true costs of CHEATING. Especially if there is no 'realistic' happy ending (that seem to never happen in real life). But then again LW is about FANTASIES not reality. At best segment is a 4*

You asked;

"These wives who want their husbands to forgive them, I always want to know how readily they would forgive their husbands if the situation was reversed"?

Well the author had Terry take back George and he seduced Brenda and had a year long affair with her even spending money on a cruise. Terry was so angry when she found out about George's affair that she just had to tell Don and do everything to help destroy that marriage but - she took back George!

Does that answer your question?

Nice Finish

There are marriages where the couple stay together after treason and raise their children and essentially work out an agreement to live together. Do not forget there were people who considered that they could not publicly declare that they had broken the sacrament of marriage. There are also a reasonable number who divorce and remarry the same person. Pessoalmente I enjoyed this ending;

sbrooks103xsbrooks103xover 4 years ago

No, it doesn't really answer my question. I'm sure there are wives who take back cheating husbands.

My question was just how readily these wives who are looking for forgiveness would be willing to forgive. We can never know of course, especially with a fictional story, but my feeling is that she would have his balls in a jar!

She said she thinks of his cock offer because of its size and how he made her take it up her slut married American ass as he put it . He used suntan oil and totally relentlessly fuck her ass. She said she has never been so dominated used and abused sexually before or since.

Unfriended

I have read both stories on Unfriended, and I have read a lot of the comments on them. Being a very hard man and now at 66 years old, I can say i have seen a lot in those years. Yes i have seen friends cheat, some did get a divorce, some stayed together. Yes reading this story i was disappointed they didn't get back together and a few other things in the story, I gave the writer a 1 star.I don't understand why they all ways write the woman at fault. In all the marriages I seen fail it was the man at fault one way or another. Yes i as very hard on the writer, but no harder than i would be on any other. In life i have found than its all about how you fill about yourself and the person your married to. my wife and i had a friend, and she got a divorce. then she was with a different man every week end. No! we didn't like it but she is one of our closest friends. Now she's older and has no one, except what few friends she has. the wife and i are going on 27 years of marriage, wish i had know her 15 years before that but that wasn't the case. Now retired we love each other and are gowning old together. i guess what i am trying to say is don't get into these stories like their real. Just be true to yourself and your loved one, along with friends you can trust. These stories are just for fun.

MY BAD

My comment at the end of Unfriended, part one was unwarranted. Not that the comment was wrong, but it did not so much apply to this story. I should have checked for the ending sidebar "Also In This Series," or the Submissions page, and I would have found this sequel.

Unfortunately, Literotica does not furnish a way to amend or cancel your own comment. I cannot even add another comment to my previous comment on part one, since Literotica allows only one Anonymous comment per story, that is, until enough time has elapsed.

However, the author could delete both my comments, which would be appropriate, since they are not relevant to these submissions.

George was a VP yet there was a partnership meeting in the works...which is it, a corporation or a partnership... ntl, the story is very dark, with only a shimmer of light at the end.....seems to me only Divine intervention could restore the relationship.

AnonymousAnonymousabout 4 years ago
I liked this part

I think, even in the midst of all the coming wreckage, her “joke” was more of a trial balloon to George. She hasn’t changed at all. Still a manipulative, needy bitch, all the nice things she was doing were her trying to weasel her way back, and Don didn’t fall for it. Maybe if the cruise was the first time, he could have figured out a way for the kids’ sake, but not after a year. No way back from that. She would cheat again.

Putting her more at fault custody-wise could have helped the story feel more realistic. I choose to think that she gave so much away in the hopes of winning reconciliation, but it would have been better if that was explicitly stated.

WhoGivesAShitWhoGivesAShitabout 4 years ago
A mistake?

Why is it that the cheater always says ‘a mistake’ (singular)?

It’s not one mistake. In her case, she made a series of choices to escalate to the first seduction. Afterwards it was a conscious decision, at least once a week, for more than a year, to cheat: more than 50 conscious decisions. The cruise was an epic display of arrogant selfishness. Only the first dinner was a mistake. The rest, all deliberate choices, not mistakes.

Mind blown, trust gone.

The feeling of having to constantly watch over his shoulder should they reconcile was too much.

The story ends with a hint of the possibility of reconciliation. What would that look like?

What I find interesting(at least for myself) is , I don't dislike the character of the wife. The author fleshed out her character enough for the reader to get to know the woman.

Not that what she did was at all acceptable. But the author revealed enough of the flawed yet remorseful person she was. With this understanding, it might be possible to fix thier marriage in another chapter.

The story has Intriguingly enough drama for a 3rd chapter. Just saying.

Mind blown, trust gone - comment from the author

danoctober - I don't often respond to comments from readers. But, I appreciate every comment, good or bad and use them to improve my subsequent writings.

To your comments, I wanted to respond that yes, I work to give both husband and wife a human side. I don't hate women, even in these terrible and tragic situations. Some might think that I haven't been burned by a woman and that I don't understand the pain, but that is not true. I have been through a personal situation that would make good reading in the LW category, so I do understand that pain. My first marriage ended in divorce after over two decades for reason much written about on this site. It would probably be what most consider a "classic" LW story but I'm not sure I will ever be able to write it. Even coming from this perspective, perhaps because of that perspective, I understand that people, female or male, are both flawed and perfect. As much as I am a "actions are either right or wrong" type of person, life just isn't like that.

I'm glad you liked the perspective. Writing is time-intensive, and we all have other lives, but I will try to continue to write stories that explore these types of characters and these situations.

Thanks again. IntJ

This chapter took a good BTB and elevated it.

Chapter one was great from the revenge aspect. A great way for Don to share the pain.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. No violence. No death. No financial ruin. Just 2 simple posts and all is revealed and justice is served.

I feared chapter 2 would be a reconciliation. It was not. It was a well written insight into the wife's mind. I felt bad for her. He remorse angst and sorrow were palatable. Well done.

No reconciliation. Just 2 people trying to survive. A nice story extremely well done.

In this part she pulled the FB account after she got home, in the first part, she pulled it down while still on the ship.

"Brenda, perhaps you should skip this conference and just stay home with the kids and me? Since they don't expect you at work, we could take the kids to Fun World and make it a family event. What do you think of that idea, Brenda? Just me and the kids?" - I don't remember which part it was in, but she asked why he didn't stop her. The perspective from the kids side is a missing component. How did this rock their world?

The friend request ... Friendship or communication for their sake? Kids sake? Reconciliation? Don moving into another relationship?

While not needed, a third chapter could be a very good thing.

What about the kids?

I am finding their lack of caring how this effected their kids disturbing in most of these stories and the divorces of acquaintances, friends and family members. Both the wife with her cheating and the husband with him exposing her on Facebook selfish. What she did we all know was wrong and a betrayal; to both her husband and children. But what the husband did was also selfish. He chose his revenge over what his Facebook posting would do to their kids. Even if you take that down, the internet is forever. Others have seen it and I bet copied it. The kids will find out and will know. The pain of that seemed to not even be a part of his thinking. Its what most of these stories lack and bother me. I caught flack for my Laura and Greg story for them staying together after her and his cheating. But they kept their family together and raised their kids in the same home. If you revenge addicts think that YOUR "feelings" are more important than your kids' you have issues and are not thinking of them first.

If any of you are in this situation, think before you act. Marriage with kids is not the same as marriage without.

I enjoyed both parts of this story. In real life, it would have been a terrible idea for a husband and father to get revenge this way. Here’s the kicker - it’s fiction! I didn’t come here for reality, but a brief escape that might also elicit some emotions at the same time. Having been in a mostly toxic relationship for almost 20 years, I appreciate how this shows how messy this gets for both sides.

No Going Back

There’s no going back after her affair. I feel more sorry for Terry. Her husband is an absolute scumball, but she took him back because she was afraid of the future. As for outing his wife on Facebook, that was brilliant. If he hadn’t done that, people would always wonder who cheated on who. The children were little, there would be very little fallout with them. Their mothers actions will disappoint them far worse than anything their father does. Thank you

Another selfish husband, only thinking of his own pride and ego. Alright she was much worse and deserved nothing more. But why did he have to destroy the kids lives, he put himself before them. So the husband is an asshole for not wanting to stay with a women who not only cheated on him but continued to sleep with another man for over a year? He should of thought of the kids and them needing a mother? Really? And where is that same condemnation for the wife? Why didnt she think of her kids when she continued to betray her family for over a year? She deserved so much more then what he did and atleast he didnt try and keep the kids from her because he knew they still needed their mother. Im also a women as well, so nothing to do with having a hurt ego etc.

Why do they always say “I made a mistake”?

Once MIGHT be a mistake. Maybe allowing that first kiss or grope. After that, each action is a conscious, deliberate decision.

An affair is a planned series of encounters. A mistake affair? That’s an oxymoron spoken only by morons.

"It's the first time for both of us, so hopefully, our spouses can forgive us." - Well, the first AFFAIR, but the first TIME was a year ago, and there have been many more "times" since then.

I really thought this was a well written story about a very real subject. I like a lot of others went through an ugly divorce and while I do enjoy the btb stories sometimes it is just not possible. Obviously they have 2 small children and even though they will grow up with divorced parents at least they still have both parents. In my opinion every time she looked at her husband for that year she cheated on him. Secrets are still lies, again that is just my opinion. This story as sad as it was it still was very real. Not everybody can get past an affair if it only happened once you surely can't fault a man for divorcing her after a year long affair. I gave this story 4 stars mostly for the true to life sadness of the story. Divorce with children is always a sad thing but sometimes it just can't be avoided.

Delusional

Based on what you put in the story regarding the length of the affair and their flaunting of it on a cruise, you believe plot is meaningless and logic for fools.

Liked the stories

I think George really gets off too easily. A married VP having an affair with a married employee, even in different depts - although George and Brenda do work together at least occasionally - is almost always a serious violation of policy. It’s definitely a lawsuit waiting to happen as soon as one of Brenda’s peers suspects he or she hasn’t been promoted because he/she isn’t sleeping with a VP... It isn’t Brenda that legal has to worry about and any decent HRO would have terminated both of them immediately. Not to mention defrauding the company by arranging a business trip and then canceling it behind not only their spouses backs, but also the company’s. Crossing state lines to do it potentially invites RICO charges.

As to George and his wife, he has no interest in her. His only regret is that he was found out and shows only superficial remorse. He plainly understands Terry much better than she does him, and he’ll use her again. As the story is written, I suspect that he will begin seeing Brenda again, certainly after she gives up on getting back with Don. Once she’s divorced, George will be fair game for her and he won’t resist after a few months of forced separation from her. I’m sure this would be equally true even if Brenda and Don had reconciled - within 6 months she and George would have been seeing each other again, but this time being both more aggressive and determined to be more careful, which are two needs in deep conflict with each other...They will be caught, and probably sooner rather than later.

Anyway, I liked the story and believe cheaters deserve what they get, usually. I just wish George had gotten punished more and Don had taken Brenda back, giving her a second chance for the sake of his children, but preparing himself for her inevitable betrayal. And who knows, Don and I could be underestimating her ability to reform. That would be nice, too.

jsch1947jsch1947almost 3 years ago

Don should have died George for alienation. Then (just to stir things up), the company. Explore her co-workers thru depositions to find out how many knew. Threaten the company with publicity. Demand that Brenda sue them for sexual harrassment.

The marriage is forever broken. Go after the money. Let the sluts try to protect their jobs

jsch1947jsch1947almost 3 years ago

I agree with mletrout completely. Give Brenda a second chance. However protect yourself with a postnup that would strip her of everything but the clothes on her back if she repeats. Including loss of visitation rights.

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 3 years ago

First, this part is exactly what many other writers have abandoned, the final part of the story.

For that alone I gave this 5 stars.

Now, reading through some other comments I agree Helen 1899s comment was way out of line.

I was also rooting for a post nup reconciliation but also recognized his right to a divorce.

With kids that young she was over the moon.

She really did screw up.

Just_WordsJust_Wordsover 2 years ago

I love the idea them trapped on the boat, slowly making their way toward their fate. They can't do anything but wait. I really like that!

As for character development, I can't help but think that a cheating wife begging to have her marriage returned to her is not going to drop the F-bomb each time she speaks to him. First, anger does not serve her well. Second, it reminds him of what she was doing. She would be contrite, controlled, and begging.

Agree with most. Didn't need epilogue. They cheated they got served.

Had to reduce score on this one as Terry took him back.

Over year emotional and mental cheating and then physical

Planning their cheated and keep it going on and actually more than an afternoon etc plan days together.

No possible reconciliation

trance00trance00over 2 years ago

You don't get to determine whether reconciliation is possible for other people. You don't get to define the limits of any reality other than your own. It didn't work out for Don and Brenda. Maybe it did for George and Terry. Different people, different values, different rules. Ultimately, it's the author's reality, so what they say goes.

I thought it was a good story. Thanks to the author for their effort.

They need to at least be friends for the children, but there is no coming back from cheating for a year. Outing her on Facebook was perfect revenge. For those comments whining about the poor children. Was the bitch worrying about the children while she was cheating on her cruise? You can’t have it both ways.

Legio_Patria_NostraLegio_Patria_Nostraover 2 years ago

Wow. With all their conflicting emotions, fears, insecurities, panic attacks, trust issues and mutual concern for their children, neither of then nor, most surprisingly the Judge didn't once even consider professional counseling. This is a classic, text-book case of too many shades of gray to pursue a purely black and white outcome.

MISSED opportunity!

LIES THEY PROMISE TO HONOR

Her desperate promise.... "I'm never going to cheat again, honey." What she says, a few months later, when she's sure she can get away with it. "Pump a gallon into me Allen."

Only a fucking idiot would trust someone who's already betrayed them.

EVERYONE LOSES.

When the divorce court gets through granting a man a divorce and he learns how the system is stacked in favor of women and against men, he'll never let himself fully love and trust another woman. Why would he? How could he?

InfosaugerInfosaugerover 2 years ago

I've read hundreds of storys of cheating wifes on this site. I admint that I'm a fan of RAAC but I know there are storys where this is not possoble.

And I also know a lot of people think once a cheater alsways a cheater. Well, this is not my opinion. I think it depends on the women or more exactly on the remores she feels. Is she more sorry for the loss of her life that she had before or for the hurt that she inflicted on the loved ones.

In this case I believe that if they would have stayed together she would never chear again. You see, even millions of US americans were able to learn from their mistake of electing Trump as president and didn't elect him a second time. And yes, I also see that millions are stupid enough to have voted for him a second time.

It’s just a story, but...

We all know in the real world the legal system is so stacked against the husband that even with what Brenda did she would be the one with the house, and the kids, and the poor husband would be paying alimony and child support. Doesn’t detract from the story which was well written, it is just a story of course. Thanks for writing it.

kirei8kirei8over 2 years ago

So Terry, who started all the shit, took her loving hubby back and continued her life. And Dumbass Don, through absolutely no fault of his own, gets royally fucked over and basically shit on by those who forgave ( or ignored ) the slut her "mistake", a little oops that lasted over a year. Who needs a court to fuck you over anyway! Terrible ending for this srory. You could have at least ended it in a murder- suicide where Brenda kills the seducer asshole and offs herself afterward.

AnonymousAnonymousover 2 years ago
A "feel good" for the husband story

The reality is that Brenda got custody, alimony, child support and the house until the kids graduated high school. Half their assets and half of Don's retirement. If you think otherwise you are not familiar with the Court system in this country. Don saw the kids every other weekend and for a couple of weeks in the summer. The end.

AnonymousAnonymousover 2 years ago
Not for me

To me it felt like it was too easy for her. Yes, he eventually left but outside the Facebook posting, she got off pretty lightly. I've read stories on here where the wives haven't been as bad as her and got burnt. Oh well.

numbnutz49numbnutz49over 2 years ago

OK, after reading the first part, I commented but didn't notice Part 2. So now I retract my complaint to finish the damn story. Now I say - as others after previous similar stories - why didn't Brenda ever say "I'm sorry that I cheated on you for over a year" instead of "I'm sorry" that we all know is code "I'm sorry I got caught - next time I'll do a better job hiding it from you"! But after my complaints, these two are darn good reading!

There is no, none, no possibility to put a marriage back after a year of continuous cheating with one man, including a vacation cruise with the paramour. What the hell was she thinking? Of course she didn't really love her husband or the children. There was only her that counted. Sad story but well written.

AnonymousAnonymousabout 2 years ago

A sad but logical ending to a story that could have had a few more twists and turns but was well written and stayed within the bounderies of civilised, if flawed, human behaviour. Judging by some of the comments it seems clear that the Literotica Taliban believe that civilised behaviour doesn't apply to women (who should spend their lives alternating between the wrack and whipping post) and turns men into wimps and cucks.

So you get 5 from me if only to counteract the wife beaters and bigots.

Basically a decent story and I totally agree with the divorce

This was a long term affair and there was absolutely no possibility for a RAAC, the vacation cruise made that mandatory.

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 2 years ago

Mediocre poker. Why be friends other than a story line? She's a cheating slut that didn't make a one-time mistake. The cruise was a carefully planned betrayal. Who wants to be friends with that type of person?

Meh. I felt like this chapter wasn't needed. You ended the story just fine in the first chapter with the two being served. This chapter really added nothing to the story.

NicealloverNicealloveralmost 2 years ago

I was thinking that her betrayal was too great to overcome. However, her reason for cheating was never explored. Psyciatric counseling would be required. I would have left the door open on the relationship. There was too much at stake.

Good story!

Too unbelievable tbh I got bored an skipped to the end but as wrong as it is in most situations the mother gets the kids thereby the house too regardless of her actions trust me I know mothers who got custody who don’t deserve it the dads are a way better choice but the courts didn’t see it. Leading her out of the house he has no right by law it’s half hers an he’s lucky his wife is so understanding she could of really destroyed him in a divorce if she wanted to

No answer is the best answer?

This story didn't add anything to the series. Every W had been supplied by George's wife except the why or part of what. As much as he asked. She didn't care enough to save her marriage by answering. Why? Or the What. She never answered what made her jump into another's arm. or why she did it. But she wanted to be forgiven and taken back? Maybe if she had been honest and upfront. That's where I believe the author dropped the ball. He was determined to make her loose and George to strive so he forgot the main parts of a story. Those w's are the story, without them, you have nothing.

This chapter ended right where chapter 1 did, what was the point?

The thing that's hardest to understand in this chapter is when Don says they probably could get back together but, it would be a lot of hard work. Not saying they should have gotten back together but, if he felt that way why wouldn't one or both of them have suggested counseling? At least going through marriage counseling might have helped him get answers to the questions about the affair that she was unwilling or unable to answer for him.

All of you with overly critical comments to the author.... I've looked your names up... none of you have ever written one of your own stories. You must all be Biden voters and this is your way of expressing your frustration at how pathetic the person you voted for is doing.

Glad many are enjoying my stories. I try to write them to be both entertaining and emotional with characters that are not perfect or complete monsters. I wish I had more time to write but will try to keep them coming. I love comments, it's the only form of payment so let me...
