I completely engaged with what the poet is experiencing. Excellent work.
Good work. I like this one. I am not great at tanka myself, tend to jam at the haiku stage. I love the sentiment and the revelation, exactly the sort of thing you want to see in this form of poetry. Write some more tanka. I think you have the mind for it.
