I am in a cocoon of spiderwebs
and tree branches,
Curved about my body
in a gentle embrace.
The Keepers of my shelter,
ever so diligent and careful
of my person and potential;
Working without fail to protect
and guard my little world.
But, the day will soon come,
When out of the shelter, I shall fly.
And the sadness of my Tender,
Isn't because of responsibility lessened,
But of a necessity I must learn.
Something I must see,
That now the whole 'world'
Doesn't revolve around me.
It's a good poem, and a pleasant read. Very even and measured pace.
