i was jumping up and down when i found this up and let me tell you i love it and to be honest didn't notice any errors but then again i wasn't looking for any, i can't wait to read more hon, i am soooooooooo curious about Rayne and how Freya reacted to Dayton. i can't wait for the next chapter!!!

Interesting first chapter. There is a lot of darkness in this one and a lot of emotional baggage. And your two love interests - Freya & Dayton - that is one violatile mix, I must say. I love it, it will definitely have me guessing and scheming over the next little while till you bless us again.
Loved the back story. Once again, I'm intrigued and eager to experience the journey...

This start is a lot darker than the others but I suspect it may get darker before the light kicks in, Nice to see Fraya being 'interested' in a werewolf, cos we know the fun they can have hehe.

You've no idea how long i've waited to read your work again, and your characters are always so real, with your your it's more than just a story, it's realizing that at some point and on some level we can all relate to their pain and sorrow, their happiness. I've told u before, if you haven't had offers to become published, then you should actively pursue it. As long as you keep writing, we'll all keep reading

Well hello there Ms. Jazzy. I see you've taken some time off from being Phoenixbreez's muse... don't think I haven't noticed the game you two are playing at... with you on a writing holiday and she taking her fans through the misery of waiting a week + for her next installments...the both of you cut from the same, if not very similar, cloths I say... but it's all in good fun... I know good writing takes time, but really must you both leave me in suspense? Anywho back to this newest story... this Dayton fellow is uuber depressed I see and who do you decide to hook him up with... Freya? Really Jaz? I mean I get all we see is the mean, hardcore rip-the-throats-out-of-you-and-your-whole-family Freya so we don't really know if she's the type to secretly yearn for a dominant, yet lovingly devoted man in her life but I can already see this is not going to be an easy pairing as Andrei, Alexei's and Nor's were. And this Rayne chick... I do believe that this is the first non-wolf were you're created in all your stories... nice touch though... now who we gonna hook her up with in the coming stories?
Oh and before I forget, so loving that Ash and Freya have a good relationship and loving even more that Ash has had a little one.

Ok so I'm alittle excited that Ash and Nors have had there first son and Cedar and Alexi now have 2 girls. What a great way to reference back to our favorite characters.
I like this Dayton, and feel a connection to him and his pain. We all have suffered pain through out our lives and like Dayton, most of us have wanted to run away and try our best to ignore it. Having someone like Ash, with all her love and true understanding coming into Dayton's life is going to be hard. Ash has the ability to turn the axis of Dayton's world upside down.
Freya is going to mess with Dayton by pushing his buttons. Which may be just what the "DOG" needs. Him having no fear of death is also going to challenge Freya to come up with new ways to "hound" him.
A panther Werecat. You always have to throw something unexpected into the mix so why not a panther. I guess Panthers and Wolves don't have the same hate that cats and dogs have for one another. I'm looking forward to hearing her story of loss and how that helps her relate to Dayton.
Well Jaz, you have done it again. How you are able to continue this story amazes me. You are truly a talented author. One in which no matter what genre you choose to write, you will be successful.

Also love the title of this new story because it's bittersweet and yet hopeful at the same time.
I started reading the chapter thinking -- great, we're finally going to see how life has changed for Annie and Caleb after that cliffhanger ending in TC with Gard showing up.
By the end of the chapter, though, I had so many new questions about Rayne, Dalton, and Freya that it was a couple of hours later before I even remembered there wasn't much about Annie and Caleb here!
See? That's how good you are at drawing people in and getting them to focus on the things that you want their attention on. #SoEvil
I guess this means that the weekly torture of waiting for the next installment begins again! I won't complain too loudly, though, because I'm sooo happy that this 'long walk home' has begun at last.

I am so glad that you have returned to writing in this world. These new additions are sure to become fast favotites. Rayne's mysterious abilities are very intriguing and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us. I could feel the emotional pull of the inner turmoil in Dayton. Your ability to let us identify with your characters is truly an impressive gift. I am glad it is going to be a long walk home instead of a short one, because I don't think I can get enough! LOL!

I mean scent-masking and and hiding in shadows isn't anything your typical weres can do. Admittedly all of the ones we saw so far were wolves, but I would hate for them to loose out on extras, just cause they are wolves. Make it good, will ya?

Ok from Freya's reaction to Dayton we know he will be her mate at some point down the line, although it may be kicking and screaming. LOL I was thinking Rayne would make a great mate for Gard I think they both have the same need to end their solitude and it would make her part of Annie's little family and part of Rafe's pack by default.Which reminds me how did Dayton become one of Rafe's pack did Jared just pass him over to Rafe because he already had Aaron and Cedar and couldn't Rafe communicate with him through the Alpha link? So many questions can't wait for the answers.
BTW I am thrilled that Ash and Nors have a son, can just see the ancient going all soppy over his boy! These hybred kids are going to be the most well trained loved,strong warriors when they grow up!
You nail it again, got me hook from the get go. looking forward to the developing of this exiting story.

I just found this new update! I can't express in words how excited and happy I feel knowing that I'll have something fantastic, imaginative, compelling and yes BRILLIANT to read every week or so.
To tell you that the last few weeks without your words have been punishing is a major understatement. It seems that after reading all your stories for quite possibly the 10th time I moved onto your favourites, and then their favourites and then their favourites and...well you can see where I'm going with this. It also became apparent that excluding yourself, the guild and a few others there is a sorry lack of soul-grabbing stories on this site, stories that just make you want to sigh.
So I thank you, with all my heart and soul for continuing to no only make me sigh but cry, laugh, yell, throw things, shout for joy and scream 'BRILLIANT' to the heavens. I can't wait for the next chapter as this series promises to add to your ever going fan base and exceed all my expectations regarding your BRILLIANT (yes I got it in again) writtings.

JC...I've been a fan for such a long time...all the stories, the characters are so real that I think there are weres somewhere on the planet (just kidding...lol)! Do you know how often I've checked to see if a new story was up....which is why this is happy new year to me. Thank you...keep up the good work, keep the stories coming, be it romance, were/vamp, fantasy, tho I'd prefer were/vamp, but hey beggars aren't choosers and am certainly begging!

I realised this was another of the series half way through Hearts of Warriors.
I wish there was a way to label them so we could tell easily that they were all in the same series and had to be read in an order.
