Assassin's Path Ch. 03

"That song you sang last night was beautiful, do you know others like it? Those would be the best I think," Aiska suggested. I nodded and thought about the songs I had picked up.

"Since they liked The Army of Dawn, they might like Shaethra's Song," I said.

"I haven't heard of that one either," Aiska said.

"It's actually a very lovely song. Do you know the Dragon Goddess Shaethra?" I asked the servant.

"Yes, she's the Goddess of shadows and cunning," Aiska said.

"Correct, the legend goes that she came to our world to aid in defeating the armies of Evil. Shaethra's Song is the song that the Dragon sang the night before every battle."

"I'm very excited to hear it." Aiska turned around and squeaked as she dropped to a knee. The Prince's deep voice was soft and kind, I felt a tightness in my shoulders which was conflicted by the warm sensation in my chest as I heard Aiden. I turned and lowered myself to a knee as well.

"Your Majesty," I said as formally as possible, a slight waver in my voice still got out though.

"Rise," Prince Aiden said, and both Aiska and I stood. I refused to make eye contact with him, staring at his chest intensely, remembering the hard muscles that held me tight during our one night together. My loins stirred at the memory, but I focused on remaining calm.

"What may I do for you, your Majesty?" Aiska asked.

"Please give me a minute with Myr," he said. Aiska glanced at me, but nodded at the Prince's request. She walked over to the castle, waiting by a small door in the wall.

"What may I do for you, your Majesty?" I tried to keep the venom out of my voice, but some spilled out on the word Majesty.

"Please come and sit with me?" He asked, indicating the garden. His voice was still soft, almost pleading. I nodded and we walked over to his mother's garden, sitting below the tree where Aiska and I had been earlier. I felt the tree's calming aura relaxing my muscles and seeing the same reaction in Aiden.

"Is there something you want to know, my Prince?" I asked, finally looking at his face. His expression flashed with sadness when I called him Prince instead of his name, but he composed himself quickly.

"I would like to know if you would be able to join me for a midday meal," He sounded so hopeful and genuine that it broke my heart, "I would like to get to know you and for you to know me, the real me as it is." I resisted the urge to kiss the Royal, the gesture of noble humility making him seem even more irresistible.

"I think I would like that," I said, looking down as I blushed. His hand grabbed my chin and lifted my face to his. His lips met mine and I melted into him just like before. His tongue pushed gently against my lips, asking for entry. I gladly opened my lips, letting him taste me as I tasted him. The kiss deepened and he moved me to his lap, I felt his member hardening beneath me. I grinded my hips against the hot man-flesh, pressing my ass down on him. I whimpered slightly when he broke the kiss.

"I understand that you have a performance to prepare for," he said. All I could do was nod, a disappointed expression on my face. We both stood up and he walked off towards the training grounds as I returned to Aiska. She was looking at me with a slightly annoyed and confused expression on her face.

"I thought you hated him," she said.

"I did..." my voice trailed off as my mind returned to the kiss that I wanted to return to.

"You are insane," Aiska said, rolling her eyes.

"It's one of my better qualities," I replied. She giggled and we walked through the door and up the stairs, returning to my chambers where I prepared for the banquet.
