Absolutely beautiful story. So well written! I couldn’t stop reading it. Thank you.
Absolutely fabulous, well written, a very accurate & believable story, I truly would have loved to read a few more chapters of Aoife & Declan's following life ?
Good to get some insight into my Irish heritage.
But being an Aussie I have Scottish and English heritage as well.
So who do I take pride in?
I must say the glaring faults in the alleged religion of the 1st Roman emporer to to convert to Christianity.
Prior to him a Christian was most often laying their life on the line.
When it became the official religion it had no meaning.
The church of England was a poor copy.
Christ no longer the center of their being.
Hence no justice, love or caring for the fellow human.
Today it is the same.
God save us all.
Absolutely fantastic. This transported me to the period set in the story. I still can’t understand why the English still want the fucking monarchy and titles. Shame on them!
Rousing tale and what a passionate pairing these two made; I loved reading about Aoife and Declan. 5
One of the most truly absorbing historical stories to have read in a very long while. Exceptionally well written, and with a depth of character development that brings them alive to the reader. Many thanks to the author for the enjoyment his work has given.
Astushkin, the pace killed me - and I like novel length stories. 'Just too many side trips/scenes that didn't move the story/characters/context. 'Bailed out at about 25% completion.
