I also follow Bellie444 and was so sad to read that you wouldn't publish on here anymore due to repeated rejections. So happy that you decided to give it another go! I discovered your Vanata novels later than most and loved them, you are a fantastic writer, your imagination and attention to detail are out of this world! This story also blew my mind, so unusual but so good! I'm curious, as I noticed that your male characters tend to have a sadistic streak, are you basing them on yourself? Looking forward to reading more from you!
All the stars in the galaxy 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thrilled you caved in to our campaign of loving terror and returned to grace Lit with your rare talent. I was scared a lot of the time about Logan's return and dealing with that reception; keeping his fluttering, flushing, flashing, molten hot, sexy first-mate safe, but you resolved it beautifully, and you always do. You have the most arousing way with words. Pure *gold* ... YOU KINKY DEVIL!
Now, you know there is also another category impatiently waiting to welcome you home with an inappropriate number of kisses. Just sayin'... x
Hey there! So this was my first attempt at writing an erotic short, to have fun and put something new out there on Lit. I think, from its reception, that it wasn’t what people expected. Sorry about that, folks. I still enjoyed writing it and if some people enjoy this rather unusual little tale then it will be worth it. To try to honestly answer the question from anonymous: It is a fantasy.
Simply put: Stellar work! (ba dum tss)
I feel that the character building was well done, and the sexual tension developing between the characters was palpable.
The sexual tastes came out of left field, however who am I to judge another’s preferences, nothing was so untoward as to jar the immersion in the novel. I know your authors note mentioned uncertainty as to what category to place this in, and I do agree with your decision in Sci-Fi, however maybe some rosa-blanca.ru would have been useful for those readers who would not enjoy such scenes.
There remain more questions than answers in regards to the overall plot, but it was fleshed out enough to leave the reader mostly satisfied. Knowing that humanity will likely never know what happened to the original builders of the spacecraft, and so neither will the readers (even though selfishly we wish we did).
Definitely a 5* work, and I look forward to further submissions to the site!
Cheers,
Dennis
I really enjoy your writing; Venata and the Maeser is one of my go-to stories. Thank you for this!
So glad you have listened to Bellie444's counsel and granted us another exceptional piece of entertainment.
My heart sank when Logan indicated Echo's fate of a confined laboratory sample. What joy when you saved the feathery traveler from the traditional capture and release story.
So, tell me, is the HITAB available for purchase somewhere in the galaxy?
Very glad you are back. Thank Bellie for persuading you to return to us.
I'm afraid that if I say "I love this!" it will not truly convey how much I enjoyed this novella. Better say "I love this deep-space much!" Yes, this describes it a little more efficiently. Thank you! Oh, thank you!
Thank you for this gorgeous story. Truly you are one of the best writers on this site.
Your male characters are all a bunch of controlling dicks. Fortunately for them your female characters are a bunch of brainless bimbos.
So unique and thoughtful. Beautifully done. The only thing I would have liked is something at the end between Logan and Echo that showed she helped him improve Puck with her knowledge. Maybe she learned a great deal in her dream life & could contribute. Then they would make an even better match.
When I read this I keep being reminded of Papagena in Lotte Reinigers animation of Mozarts Papageno from 1935. Part bird, part alien.
You are truly an amazing author! Your sci-fi is as good as your rogue semantic story. I intend to read every word you have put to paper or should I say monitor! Definitely hooked! Thank you again for such wonderful adventures.
There's nothing you've posted here that I haven't enjoyed thoroughly. Thank you for continuing to share your craft.
Such a different direction from your other work but just as enjoyable. Thank you for a unique and enjoyable and very sexy story!
Unsurprisingly, this was a brilliant story. It’s very easy to read, very well written an absolute pleasure! The descriptor for space - the deep dark - is perfect and whilst there were several unfamiliar terms used in the story the context in which you presented them made easy to understand. I’m sure every reader imagined the items, places etc slightly differently.
Please if you have any more stories lurking out there we’d love the chance to read them. Awarding only 5 stars doesn’t seem nearly enough to do justice to your writing.
Many thanks.

I love every word you put to paper... or keyboard... The craft with which you write is impeccable. To be utterly frank, I found your stories looking for a stimulating experience, but I return for each new story knowing I will find a captivating story. Knowing your work is now available to purchase, I cannot wait to treat myself to more of your work.
Good morning Harp,
Thanks for another delightful tale. Very imaginative and sexy. I thought Echo's flashing colors was great. If human women did that, I might be able to understand them.
I'm tired of the pandemic keeping me home. Every year I become less able to get around, so fuck it we are going to start traveling again.
I hope you are well. Thanks again for entertaining me.
Alan
I absolutely loved this story! The dynamic between Logan and Puck was hilarious and I’m so happy that there was a nod to BDSM. I was lucky enough to read Vanata before you published and I immediately fell in love with your writing. I’m so excited to read you other works and congrats with being published with Vanata!
