I can't help it that she brings tears to my eyes when she does that. I've given up trying to stop them. I just hug that little girl until she squeals and tell her I love her.
I do love Theresa, but her mother is a different story. I thought I was in love once before, but it was nothing like this. Evelyn has become a part of me. I'd sooner cut of my right arm than lose her, because cutting off my right arm would be less painful.
It's funny how life works that way. One minute you think you have everything under control and the next something happens that changes everything in your life. For me, that was a young electrician who asked for my help. She ended up turning my life upside down by making me love her more than anything and by giving me a daughter who gets more and more like her mother every day. I can live my life like that and be happy.

The sex was OK but all the electrical stuff was fascinating from a layman's perspective. Mack got off easy and should have been prosecuted.

Great buildup to a great love story. The technical aspects of the work gave the tale a feeling of realism, and the slow evolution of their relationship was the way real people fall in love.

You seem to have a writing tree you seem to pick a good story from your tree every few days.
Having worked Construction during summers and teaching beginning construction in high school your descriptions were great. Right now my grandson is dating a female electrician (he is a welder).
I’m not an electrician, but not a stranger to that world. I pretty much fell in line with the nuts and bolts of the story. I got mad at the treatment of Evelyn, Mack should have known he would eventually get caught. But he was a man on a mission and he had to make himself feel like he was not to be outdone. You had Mark slowly fall for Evelyn, I saw that one coming. Glad the daughter loved him too. It makes for a happier marriage. Giving 5 circuit breakers, all fully powered.. 😉
I retired from the trades and the story made sense to me because I spent time around it it felt like home.
Well, this Old Master Electrician thinks it was a Great Story...!!!!

Lots of detail about electrical work that didn’t seem essential (or comprehensible). In a sense, that’s typical of this author’s work. Any romance is tacked on after lots of detail about some area of interest to the author. What I really can’t comprehend is how the author knows so damned much! ronde is a talented writer whose breadth of knowledge becomes more apparent with each tale. I can’t wait to see where the author wanders next.
Another great story. PLEASE keep them coming. I can't get enough of them. Well done.
