To start the new year, we've released a big update to the New Story Page BETA.
This new release includes the ability to customize font family, size, and spacing. Font customization is a feature that's been requested by Lit readers for many years, so we are excited to have it out in BETA.
The feature is accessed via a new tab on the Story Info Block on the first page of each story on Literotica. It looks like this:
To activate the New Literotica Story Page right now, log into your member control panel and go to the Options > My Options menu. On that page, you'll see a new option called "Participate in early site feature versions beta-testing?" If you turn that on and then click "Save", you'll see the New Story Page the next time you visit a story here on Lit. You can turn it off at anytime, so there is no risk!
We'd like to hear from you about any of the following:
1. Any problems, bugs, or issues that you have while using the new story page. The more information you can send us, the more quickly we can track down bugs.
2. Any suggestions you have to improve the new story page.
3. Any general feedback letting us know what you think of the new story page compared to the old one.

We've been working on the new story page - with the input of many Lit readers and Lit authors - for a long time. Once launched, it will allow us to add many highly requested features, so please help us get it ready.

Wow the new features make a world of difference! Much easier to read, navigate wich makes it a smoother & more welcoming experience❤️ I can get to where i want, read what i want and its not as clunky or time consuming. More immersion. Keep it up🌹Literotica; where i found out i enjoyed erotic literature all those many years ago.

Please offer a return to the old orientation. The new style is much more difficult to navigate.
It's difficult to navigate the larger site as well. I've learned a few tricks to get your site to perform, but i still get lost!
you need to make it easier to navigate between pages of stories, like buttons at the top of the page. As it is, whenever i go back and forth within a story i have to scroll scroll scroll.
The font keeps reverting back to default tiny size is I leave the page and come back. The only place to reset it is on the first page of the story. Frustrating.
When in landscape orientation, the Info block steals room on the right side of the page - ALL pages - even though the beta option is turned off. Sorry, but I want to use all the landscape area for text, in the same manner as the portrait orientation. Please undo this new "feature".

Would love to see how many pages or some other indication of story length. Sometimes I want a longer story but sometimes I only have time for a 1 or 2 pager.
I would like to on authors page an alternate sort current or date latest date on top
I would like to see some indication of how long a story is. I don't want to start a long multi-chapter story if I only have 15 minutes to kill.
Agree with the commenters before me. An ability to search and a scroll option to read the story in one go instead of jumping 1, 2, 3 pages, it disrupts the reading rhythm.

I would like to see a date search of stories, possibly in each category. Sometimes a multipart story changes and I lose track of the final sections. Thanks.
Where you first list the stories, could you please list the size with each of the stories?
i often listen to the stories using ai readers, it would be great if it were possible to read the stories without needing to click and open new pages....so my request would be scrolling full stories on one page as an option
You need to put a way to search for stories like your phone app has. There is no way to search from computer
I like to have customised search so that I don't have to scroll all over for a good story
I enjoy reading the stories. I have a suggestion I think would help readers read series of stories instead of having to flip through pages to find the next part is the use of a search engine this way you just need to type in the title of the story you're reading it will make reading more enjoyable.
On my droid phone, i used to be able to use my text to voice feature and it would read the whole page while i am driving... or other hands free activities. but now it only reads one paragraph and i have to keep swiping and scrolling for every paragraph. in other wards, you killed my text to voice and if i was blind i would really be screwed.

You are doing beta testing and this works on my mobile, but I normally use my Kindle for reading stories on Literotica. As a result of beta testing when I go into Article Mode the article is so small it is barely legible. Clicking on the A symbol does not work. On the web page under PUBLIC BETA the Click here link does not respond either. Have you tried testing Literotica with a Kindle Paperwhite?
What happened to being able to download stories via mp4 to be able to hear them at a convenient time.
If it is still possible, please let us know as I have tried just about everything but may be missing something.

I thought this was an excellent update and message of greetings. It's very positive for us to be in some sense a literary community; this is not unserious. That's all.
Being able to sort the stories under the author by the date so you can read them in order.
Especially when they have a series of stories as they are currently sorted by story name.
The strength of any database is its search engine. Add a filter of gender of author, number of comments, and improve the specificity of putting quotes around a phrase, which is now very weak.
What happened to "My Control Panel"? I liked being able to see my "followed" topics there. And being able to see when I last visited.
It would be really helpful if you add search bar on the heading in all pages, because it is difficult to find story.
Maybe have the option of veiwing stories in full screen and not just a ribbon down the middle
Using on an iPhone, the stories do retain their place when reading then closing. Annoying to have to find the place again
I would like the option to hide stories that I’ve either read or that don’t interest me . I use the search button and would like the option of not seeing stories I’ve read and disliked. Or perhaps color code a story based on a thumbs up or down
Wish one story site somewhere took ideas, suggestions, from readers about kind, type, of story, stories, they'd enjoy, love, reading?
I'll love to be able to thumbs up a comment if I agree with it or feel the same way about a story.
A lot of stories include a lot of rosa-blanca.ru how about providing the readers a minus tag when searching so they don't land on a story they might not like.
It’s really busy, not really all that easy to get to rosa-blanca.ru I care about.
How about something as basic as on favorites pages including:
1) category;
2)page and word count;
3) date written.

Many stories fall into multiple categories... How about giving the authors options to tag stories into multiple categories?
Hi, it would be good to be able to read the new chapter. it is in the list (Big in Japan) however it is nowhere to be found to read. I have also noticed that some of the old chapters have dropped off. I was going to re read the full story once more but it is now missing chapters.
Why on a moble device, when using the translator, the page is cyclically refreshed?

Hi together, for me, the News Layout is ok, much Bretter then the Oldenburg ohne. What I am Reality Miss is the Button to change the Language. Where did you hit it.

I personally think the new layout is a big improvement compared to the old style.
If there are too many stories to read because of a time constraint I would like to copy the entire story at once if possible.
Det er bare så flot. Dejligt med nyt design og nye muligheder. Jeg vil gerne kunne se Literotica på dansk, og jeg ved, at det er muligt - men kan ikke finde et flag. Og så mangler jeg en let adgang til forfattere eller medlemmerne. Tak for nye forbedringer.

I can read your web pages. They are not squished into a tiny area of the screen. And the font is not microscopically sized. It's WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!

Using Safari on iPhone 10:

Comments section gets moved far down the page, since the all of the right side bar gets put in before comments. That seems a mild inconvenience. It's all I could find.
SUGGESTIONS
It would be nice to have a login on the top of the home page, the way it is displayed on the /stories in Beta.
It would be nice to see the ratings 1-5 uniformly on story pages. Add to New Stories, etc. The way they appear in the Fetish categories.
Overall, it's really amazing! Go with it!
The new layout is much better. HOWEVER I would like to see dark mode on profile/user story pages too.
