Because using the same name for the heroine in her book as her own persona as a high end escort is not really the best thing to do. if the book becomes a success all her customers will get to hear about the book and wonder if the Amber they met is the author of the book.

Also since you have a blog on your author web site. You might wanna post in that one sometimes - like once per month. Now it looks to be abandoned since you have not even posted anything for over a year.
