Because I am clearly whatever the opposite of the sharpest tool in the shed is, I did not in fact realize that this story neatly closes the "What does Kat tell Liz?"-gap in your BCU. That had the unexpected benefit of me not knowing where this was going to go (a longer series? just this sequel?). So glad you decided to keep it at the two parts, because that seems like the perfect length for the story you wanted to tell.
Also, I'll have to agree with your assessment: That you enjoyed writing it is clear as day, and it might be my favorite story from you. Which is a high bar to clear, because I (as, seemingly, everyone) love your stories. Now please, _please_ continue Wheels in Motion, please, the tension is killing us all.

Great story and story-telling, BS. I particularly liked some of the characterisation. Caitlyn, for example, was just right. Some authors give small children twee, even sickly, dialogue (there's a story somewhere here on Lit where the author has an eight-year-old talking as if she's two) but you didn't make that mistake. I also admired the way you illustrated Amanda (now there's a character who needed a kick up the backside)---I could practically feel the freezer door opening every time she appeared on the scene. And it even finished off with a little chuckle, Eddie telling Megan to use a coaster. Twas...2 had everything necessary for a good tale: drama, humour, a touch of sadness... Excellent five star work!
I have been looking forward to this since the latest chapter of Wheels In Motion. You write wonderful characters and it is a joy to read about each and every one of them.

This is great and everything but what happened to Wheels in Motion? I'm really looking forward to what happens in that story. Dunno why authors have to write multi stories. How do u expect people to remember what happened last 1) with the amount of time we have to wait n 2) now we have to wait longer because of this one? Please just don't forget Wheels in Motion.

This was just a beautiful "Love Story X3", with Caitlyn being quite a wonderful daughter to Kitty Kat and Megan. I just adored how Caitlyn effortlessly moved from "Miss Megan to Mom-Megs", without any prompting from the adults. The story was just so well written, with numerous excellent 1-liners to mention here.
Also, as 1-previous commenter stated, now we can expeditiously move on to "Wheels In Motion", as all your loyal readers breathlessly await the next chapter!!

I had expected the first chapter to be a holiday bijou. Your writing is wonderful and the courtroom scene brought me to tears! Thanks again for a beautiful story. ❤️
I really liked the Captain America facing Thanos alone moment, when Kathryn was willing to fight in court against seemingly insurmountable odds to keep Caitlyn. The moment when MJ and Megan showed up to fight alongside her was every bit as, if not more inspiring, than when the Avengers arrived to have Cap's back. Really powerful stuff.
Amanda was a really unlikable villain who provided all the darkness the story needed to let the heroes shine. The scene where Steve redeemed himself was handled gracefully and provided some closure.
The actual lesbian acceptance narrative and the coalescing of Kat , Cait, and Megs into a family unit was handled in a touching, heartwarming and very believable manner which made their sudden split jarring and heartbreaking. This low point really helped make the courtroom scene and the subsequent barroom scene feel like major triumphs.
Megan's romancing of Kathryn was epic, and the sex scenes were hot but not overdone. The way they were always struggling to find opportunities for intimacy was very relatable.
The wedding / adoption ceremony at the end really put a beautiful bow on a wonderful story.
If Kat's recounting of her "love is love" (Megan-sexual) story isn't enough to open Liz's " mind to the possibility that Addison is "the one" then Liz is definitely not "the one" for Addison.
I have a good feeling she is though😉

Wonderful story as usual. I suspect at least part of the character of Megan is based upon our lovely author--specifically, her willingness to put in time to research the subjects that she is writing about. In all the stories Brokenspokes has written, she's shown an amazing depth of knowledge about an array of subjects--helicopters, military life, comics, web design, medicine, law, music, etc. She seems like an expert in all of these things--which is a testament to her work ethic and her writing skills. Kudos to you!

First let me admit that I'm an idiot and didn't catch on until the end that Kat and Megan where that Kat and Megan. I really enjoy long form romantic stories and even better when they're part of a larger universe. Thank you for introducing us to the BCU and for giving us realistic characters, flaws and all.
First I was excited that you had posted a new story, then I was bummed that it wasn't another chapter in the Wheels tale. I did recall liking the first chapter of this story enough that I had hoped for a continuation when it originally came out. Once again, you didn't disappoint. This was a well crafted story, and I was fully engaged in the hopes of them working out. My excitement only grew as I not only was cheering for these characters, but as it slowly dawned on me who they actually are. (Later than I should have, there are some awfully big clues early on that I totally missed!) Wow, you've done it again, another great work. Thank you!!

Really sexy but restrained sex scenes, beautiful plot direction and use of a realistic tension in the story that was scary even though we know it would be resolved. But really just a beautiful depiction of love (including love between a mother and child)

Having just finished the two part story I must say it was one of my favourite stories I have ever read on Literotica. How you showed the fragility of Kathryn and her love for her daughter above anything for herself, albeit her love for Meghan was wonderful. I was emotionaly drawn in by this beautiful love story. Meghan's part was brought across as an understanding lesbian and who has lovingly demonstrated her patience in this 3 way relationship with Mum, young 3 year old Caitlyn and herself.
Kathryn's eventual public acknowledgement of her love for Meghan brought tears to my eyes. I am now, very much, looking forward to reading Wheels in Motion and your other works. Well done and thank you Spokes :-)

It's so nice to finally know ALL that happened after Christmas. This story bares most of the struggles of lesbian relationship and I learned a lot from it. I enjoyed reading every minute of it.

I started following this author after Hard Landing, which I could easily see becoming a published novel or even a movie if the author ever decides to submit it for publication (not that I’m a professional or something, but I don’t think it takes a genius to comprehend how good it is). This one felt a little cheesy to me, maybe because it’s shorter than Hard Landing, maybe just because it’s very mushy and I have a hard time with mushy. Nonetheless, I truly believe this author could become a bestseller - I wouldn’t be surprised if someone told me it was a bestselling author noodling around online for fun.
Just another great story. Now on to finish up Wheels in Motion.

great story could not close page till i finished it would have liked more detail at the end of some of the chaps ie "please come alone to next time" would be good to hear that exchange etc, but loved it 5 stars and Fav added and agree with a lot of the posts its a great story i just want more lol
...as it's already been said by others. Another moving story of true love finding Kat and Megs. Apart from the brilliant writing which is abundant throughout the 3 interconnected stories, I love the little touches of humour, such as when Kat climbs on the bar, makes her declaration causing Megs to join her then to be told by Eddie "Use a coaster for Chrissake. How many times do we have to tell you?"
Then there's the eek from Jill in Hard Landing, the zing from Liz in Wheels In Motion and now the Kitty-Kat for Kathryn here. Lovey use of words throughout.

Read this again during my time off before the holidays, and it is still amazing. I cannot stop smiling during the courtroom scene. BrokenSpokes your ability to make the reader feel the emotions your characters are feeling is priceless. Be it anger, pain, despair, joy, happiness, hope, or most importantly love, the emotions shine through. It is a rare author who can do these as well as you. Trying to pick a favorite story of yours is hard, they all are so well done and emotional. I think I will just leave it at my favorite is the story I am currently reading. Possibly your best story from a most moving point is one you said is set in BGU but does not fit into the story line of any of them. I think The Withdrawal does fit into both Hard Landing and Wheels in Motion. I urge anyone that has not read those 3 stories to do so. ( read Hard Landing, Wheels in Motion, then The Withdrawal in that order. But have a box of kleenex handy.) 5* eagerly awaiting your next story.
