Fine writing, excellent theme and a really wonderful read . Many thanks.
Thanks for another great story, q, leaving me hoping for a happy ending the whole time as I seriously doubted that there would be one. The end summed it up quite well. 5*
Damn but that was a very enjoyable story. Technically correct and a perfect feel good story line. Thank you.
Wonderful story, Randi, 15 stars! Alice was a little snob, until she unknowingly met her "husband". She really loved him, and surprised him when she said they were going to put kids in the house. Alice's mother knew she'd met her son-in-law, the first time she met him! Also, nice to mention rural areas...
Please write more, SOON, we need another VAGABONDS! You are the best!!
Another great story; by the master storyteller. Please bring another forward asap. Thanks for sharing!
5/5 - well written, nice reading
Only complaint: wrong category, it belongs in Romance
Really liked the dialogue in this story. Funny but realistic. I have a feeling that this couple will pop out some really interesting rug rats and have some great times so doing. Great story!
Was good but not great.
⭐⭐⭐
Why drop the "ten years in the making" thing if you were not going to use.
"I never really liked Alice, but she was pretty easy to love." Best line ever, thanks for writing, really enjoyed it
One hell of a story, I start smiling every time I see that you've released a new story.
Another great story! I miss your longer, multi-chapter tales, but enjoyed this as it is. Well done! Finn
Great story and an easy read. Well written. Love a story with a happy ending. Well done.
It was full of spelling mistakes, gramatical errors and god knows what else but it was also the best so far in this writealong. Well done despite all of the above it was perfect ☆☆☆☆☆ from me
Thank you for the story. It's good but I wish it were more in-depth, with more romance and character development. Alice's character especially lacks depth, which is a shame, since she's naturally a complex character. I guess this is as far as you wanted to go with it.
Probably just me, but I never really felt that Alice became likable. But you did say that in your closing line. I did like Sasha though, it was sad to see her move away.
Really good. Loved the mutual nose breaking. The inability to express true feelings, while juvenile, is believable.
Another brilliant story from you. You hardly fail at telling great yarns and l thoroughly enjoy them.
Scores a well deserved 5/5
I loved this story. I've known people like the MCs. The characters were written so well.
The premise of the story was pretty obvious, NOT that it is a problem. The way you treated it is what makes it a gem. Thanks for another great read!
Fabulous story. I loved it, I don't have allergies but my eyes are welling...
Well written!!

It's always a pleasure to read stories of authors whose works makes reading on this site such a joy. Another great read!! Thank You qhml1
I always love your work.
I don’t think I’ve given anything you write less than 5⭐️
Thank you sir.
A fine story. You got me, there I was thinking it's going to be a Wham, Bang, Thank you, Ma'am story and you changed it. A few gremlins here and there but not enough to detract from another great story. Thank you. 5⛤
Despite hostilities, it was a rather sweet story. In my opinion, it could have detailed their post-wedding life a little bit more, but that’s me being greedy.
Surprise, surprise. Good laugh at the end. Never know what life dishes out to you. 5 stars.
Never really liked but kinda loved her after a few years. A good tale about love and hate, good people and bad, thoughtful people and assholes. The world is full of all kinds. Live and let live, it's a lot easier to love than to hate. Very well told tale. It doesn't cost anything to be thoughtful and nice. 5 stars
Sorry I can't award the number of stars this deserves - easy a 10-star ROMANCE!
OBTW, any lady with a '66 Mustang is great in my book! (We bought my wife one just after we got married - of course it was just a 6-year-old used car, at the time. ;^) ;^) )
Another great story! …so well written and enjoyed ‘o so much! Thank-you for your talent!
A really enjoyable read. And a loving wife to boot. Five stars for sure.

I parrot a commenter a few hours ago who said some authors make reading stories on this site a joy. And, of course, a is one of the foremost. Hear Hear!

Should have been in romance genre as I don’t get a warm fuzzy reading EC stories - LOL! Great job! 4.8*
An interesting if obnoxious Romance story. And rather absurd. She's got a screaming asshole for a father, a strong intelligent woman for a mother, and a schizophrenic personality, until she gets fucked into submission and good manners. Kind of ironic and silly. Hope that's what you were going for. Thanks for the seminar on trees. Wish it was accurate.
Well, we certainly learned a lot about the various wood types and forest cutting. 3*
Very enjoyable and as usual really well written. But it feels way to sparse on details e.g. her parents and how he got on with them. There are many more I could list. The ending again wS too brief and didn't have the same punch as the beginning. When I saw a new QHML story I got excited and finished this feeling a bit let down. BardnotBard
One of your signature shorts (and sweets) 5* It takes an intelligent man to keep a strong woman.
Great read and best in show...
...for a surprisingly good invitational. They usually are comprised of 2nd tier stories from great authors, perhaps due to deadline.
Special bonus from this event - we got to see Mr. Tedious crack the door to his closet.
Very nice story about how opposites attract each other. I wish the story were longer as the characters were really terrific. Four stars.
5*
The only thing missing is a Black Walnut paddle (to ensure she behaves) (or assures that she misbehaves).
[Foghorn]
The oil and water mix of personalities ended up as a fine emulsion. I hope they continue to remember to shake well for best results.
The depiction of their ‘sexy time’ was outstanding.
Very nice! — Borat
One thing about these types of stories that's really annoying is that the inner monologue is all she's a bitch she's a slut blah blah blah. Yet the first time Mr Country gets to jump her bones he's boots deep?
Sorry mate one thing guys find most unappealing in a woman is being a bitch. If this guy finds that trait appealing I think alot of his hetero credibility just went out the window 😂😂😂
A nice little enjoyable story. You should write in this category a little more often. Thanks for your time and all the effort you’ve put in over the years. KS
Love it, but it could have been more: An Unexpected Reaction, Food Desert, Let Go.... Enjoy all of them, most more than once!
