Welcome. I'm Case 21, and I'm too many things to put into a biography box on a website. Some of the things I am are: an asexual masochist, a film/lit teacher, a Canadian, a Body without Organs, and someone who wants very much to write fiction that touches people. Posting here makes me feel incredibly vulnerable. But if something I've written speaks to you, or you see a way I can improve my work, please let me know.
You may like my stories if you also like books by Jacqueline Carey, Anne Rice, Paolo Bacigalupi, Susanna Clarke, Franz Kafka, Virginia Woolf, Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari, and Michel Foucault, or films by David Lynch, the Brothers Quay, and Satoshi Kon.
News March 25, 2022:
Thanks to everyone who is enjoying my most recent story, "The Night Lines"! Lately I've been planning on returning to the steampunk world of my serial story "The Fall of Eva Pryor." I got some good advice on it during a manuscript review recently, so I may complete that story with an eye to finding an agent and pitching it to publishers. I won't be taking down any of my work from this site unless its contractually required, though, so please continue to follow me here for free!
Enjoy, dear reader. I write not for profit, but only for your pleasure, and mine.
