I am a 52-year-old Portuguese man, robust and bald, with a passion for reading and a vivid imagination. I practice archery and am an enthusiast of historical reenactments. Recently, I began to venture into writing. Although I don't if I have sufficient skills to write in English.
My stories could, in fact, all be included in one large series, but I decided—though I'm not sure if it was the best choice—to divide them into smaller series. The story so far follows Sofia, who is sentenced to 7 years of slavery and 500 lashes. The series "Don't Drink and Drive" deals with the process of enslavement, the technical and scientific aspects, and the initial relationship between Sofia and Miguel. The series "Back to Skool" portrays Sofia's life as a slave and high school teacher, and her relationships with students and colleagues. It introduces the characters Sara Messias and Vasco, and discusses the nature of slavery and interpersonal relationships. From this series, I transitioned to two more: "Lost in Lisbon", where Carla, Sofia's close friend who first appears in the initial series, becomes a character with her own point of view, helping Sofia and Miguel both professionally and intimately; and "The Terrorist", where the protagonist is Sara Messias, a left-wing extremist, which is perhaps the most serious series, as the characters are driven to extremes of suffering before being redemmed.
My series "The Terrorist" and "Lost in Lisbon" will merge, though I'm not yet sure how. I would also like to reference two independent works: "Portuguese Crime Reduction Act", which provides a legal and philosophical foundation for the universe in which my stories take place, and attempts to address the gaps and inconsistencies I've found in stories based on American reality. The story "Sex on the Beach" was an exercise in which I tried to write solely in dialogue, recounting a beach walk between Miguel and Sofia at the beginning of their master-slave relationship.
All the characters are fictional, but at the same time, real, some are amalgamations of people I've crossed paths with throughout my life.
The Lost in Lisbon ch. 5 and 6 have been published.
I have republished, Sex on the beach, same idea but more dialogs. It is a very short story please read and comment it was, is an exercise and I really need feedback.
