In addition to life as a reporter and editor for newspapers and magazines large and small, American and French -- including five years as a tabloid hack -- I have written celebrity books, a novel, and science-fiction short stories, and I have rewritten and edited romance novels and letters to Sexual Digest. (You didn't think they were real, did you?) After retiring from newspaperdom (more like jumping from a sinking ship) I have translated a French art book, and French and Latin prayer books into English, and written a few sex stories for this and other erotic sites.... Also, I was a bartender after I dropped out of Tulane.... and between a few job stints..
