She, that I pursued at night
By dawn, spell broke and withdrawn
Woman, delicious and delight
But daylight, and emotion's
gone

She pulls away into the bath
Makes me feel as I've been used
Her eyes surprise me with her wrath
As if I'd wronged, and her abused

She comes out all dressed
She wants to go
We had warm caressed
Now expired you know

What guess, the drink had fueled her lust
Her reason back with morning light
So say good bye, no muss or fuss
A one night stand, had been delight

But sunshine does her little favor
It adds ten years, and shows the pounds
That which I at midnight savor
Magic gone, by leaps and bounds

She asked me to drive her to get her car
She quickly gathered up her things
She said that it was at the bar
She secretly slipped on her wedding rings

She lied to me, I guess I knew
Both goose and gander love the sauce
But now I wonder what she will do
When she finds out I'm her new boss
