Although you hint at the backstory, much of it is left unwritten. It does seem a pity she had to look outside her marriage for satisfaction, rather than find some other vehicle for personal time with her husband, but maybe there's more at fault there than a lesser amount of ejaculate than her lover. The reference to Same Time Next Year was appreciated.
