one aspect that bothered me was, Nola and Cedric story-wise could've been the same person.
For the parts with Nola you could change the name to Cedric it would be nearly the same, as the other way around of course apart from a couple details.
Storyline-wise though it was still interesting enough.

Why did you stop writing? This shouldn’t be the end. They never met as humans. He never knew of her gift and she never knew about him being banished. There’s so much more to this story.
I voted 1 star because this story has not been finished; don't know about the rest of you, but I am growing tired to these authors not completing these stories.

This is hot! Please don't keep us in suspense. As for editing, it's great compared to many other authors. As for the comments about it? Either offer useful criticisms, as in...would you like somehelp....or just shut up and read an English lit book instead. I'm so tired of pretentious idiots on this site. I have really enjoyed the story arc that you have set up. Sometimes when I read stories on this website, the plot weighs down the writing, but you have kept pace with the charecters, giving appropriate exposition when it fit, yet allowing the reader to be in the moment and experience the present through the charecter's eyes.
Nola's reasons for being a loner are spelled out, and you've piqued my interest wondering just why Cedric is a loner, what his abilities are, and why he has been cast out. The mystery keeps me checking daily!

After the first two chapters of harping about tense, readers should just accept that this is your story to write as you want.
