Well, I’m somewhat bored tonight, so I thought I would spend some time updating my profile. I wasn’t fully happy with my last profile, and so I hope I can come up with something a bit more interesting than I had before. After all, it is 2021 and so I can retroactively add this to my new year’s resolution list, and mark it as an accomplishment.

I'm in my 50s, and recently separated and I've had this account for a long time. I started chatting here when I was in a period in my life where I had a job that wasn’t very challenging, and I had a lot of free time at work. I haven't really been active here for several years, and the recent separation, combined with pandemic has brought me back here for some type of social interaction beyond the work related chat I have with my work colleagues. All of us are working from home right now, and so we only interact virtually.

At the moment, I live alone, and although I’m somewhat of a solitary soul, there is only so much self entertainment you can do before you want to interact with others. If you were to ask me why I chose Literotica, well it was partly because I was familiar with it from my experience years ago, and partly because I enjoy flirting and talking about sex. I also enjoy talking with intelligent and creative people, and I think this site draws people who enjoy writing and they tend to be both intelligent and creative. They also tend to be well read, and so they generally can talk about other topics as well.

With respect to sex chat itself -- I’ve spent enough time with cybersex and role playing that the novelty of it wore off a long time ago. I might do it on occasion for a lark, but it’s not the primary reason I’m sitting here on the chat boards. As far as various kinks, fantasies, and fetishes go, if you’re interested in knowing about mine, you can always PM me and if I’m in the right frame of mind, I’ll probably answer with a fair bit of candor.

On the other hand, If you really want to know more about me as a “whole person” and not just an object of some fantasy that you have, feel free to PM me and strike up a conversation I tend to have an eclectic set of interests, and so I'm sure we can find a topic of common interest. Overall, I’d prefer to stay away from topics that are the rage on social media, such as politics and which celebrity has just said something offensive that they now have to apologize for. I’m not a huge fan of the narcissism that social media promotes, and I think it’s pretty emotionally unhealthy both from an individual and a societal point of view. I’m constantly amazed at how many people actually kill themselves trying to take “awesome” selfies in dangerous locations. Who said that narcissism doesn’t kill?

So having said all that, there are a lot of people in the chat rooms who won't talk to folks who haven't filled out their profile, so that was my original incentive to write a profile. As I said previously, I'm open to discussing most anything .. and if you do spend some time to get to know me, you'll find that I'm not really one-dimensional and that I do have a personality beyond my own kinks and sexual interests.
