3/19/25 Update: "A Crazy Little Thing," an against-the-odds, second-chance at love Romance has premiered to good ratings and great reviews. Thanks to all who've read and enjoyed it and those who haven't are invited to give it a try.
Also, I'm doing final edits on "After Duty Calls," my April Fool's contest story and expect to submit it in a few days.
As always, thanks for reading and for your support!

Background:
I'm an aspiring writer who enjoys writing stories I'd like to read. In addition to my generally romantic works here on this site, I've written science fiction, fantasy, westerns, and comedic works. With fifteen or so stories currently in the works here and many more ideas swirling in my mind, some of these genres may make their way into my collection here...eventually! As my username implies, many of my stories will have a Southern (as in southern United States) bent to them and there will often be elements of conflict, usually before a happy ending.
With that in mind, please note that I love getting feedback, including constructive criticism, on my work. Your feedback can help me improve my writing skills and hopefully make future stories more enjoyable. Comments, good or bad, about the story will be retained, but non-sense, non-pertinent comments, or derogatory comments about others will be deleted.
Thank you!
