To celebrate the new year, we've released a BETA version of one of the most requested features in Lit history.
The feature is accessed via the Customization Tab in the Story Info Block on the first page of each story on Literotica. It looks like this:
If you do not have BETA turned on, you can activate BETA by going to any Story Page and clicking the "Click Here to Preview" button.
You can enable and disable Dark Mode at any time. Once Dark Mode is enabled, it will apply to all New Literotica pages, including the rosa-blanca.ru Portal and Search. We will be adding more New Lit pages in 2021, so eventually the entire site will have the Dark Mode option.
We'd like to hear from you about any of the following:
1. Any problems, bugs, or issues that you have while using the new Dark Mode or Gray Mode. The more information you can send us, the more quickly we can track down bugs.
2. Any suggestions you have to improve Dark Mode.
3. Any general feedback letting us know what you think of Dark Mode.

Works seamlessly on desktop and mobile. So much easier to navigate than the classic layout especially on mobile phones.
Love Dark Mode, way easier on the eyes, blue highlights are great, like that the highlights color change on hover .Over all a vast improvement over classic in my opinion.

I've been trying to find the lit app for 2 days now because I got a new phone and just wanted to put all my apps back on the new phone so I can read again. Where is the app!
How can I get Literotica as an app again? I removed it on my phone last month and can't find it to reinstall it!!
I like dark mode. However, on my iPhone the biggest problem is stories reloading to the top and not the last point read. Especially annoying on long reads
I want dark mode desperately, but I can't stand how busy the UI in the Beta is. Is there no way to get this in 'classic' layout?
I always prefer dark mode for any apps if it's available. Much easier on my tired, old eyes.
I have another suggestion for an added feature. I would like to see the page changer appear at both the top and bottom of each story page. I occasionally like to go back to re-read a portion of a story. It would make page navigation a lot easier if I didn't have to scroll to the bottom of each page to find the page I'm looking for.
You people are crazy, dark mode should always be an option for those of us who read in low light.No having it 2021 is just plain amazing.Should've been a thing long ago.
I enjoy dark themes on websites, easier on the eyes, but have yet to figure out what triggers the "Detect Automatically". Is it the level of ambient light? Very bright goes to Dark theme or low light goes to dark theme?
Also, If I am reading a story (usually on my phone), and now I want to switch to Dark Mode, I have to go all the way back to page 1 to do the switch. Is it possible to keep the font and light adjustments on each page?
Dark mode should not be used. It makes the stories too hard to read. Do away with it.
NICE! for those who hate the dark mode: you can always choose the default theme
Ok addition maybe work at publishing writers stuff a little faster. Then work at adding things

I like the idea but find the black too dark. Tried the gray next and still it was too dark for me...would like to see something lighter gray.
I actually find this harder to read than the black-on-white standard mode. I’ll admit my vision isn’t as good as it once was however!
Look back in time to when all computer display backgrounds were black. Didn’t the green and later orange text seem to be easier on the eyes than white-on-black? Is it only me? For now I’ll stick with the existing, and dial down screen brightness if needed. I’m curious what others think.

Thank you now its not torture on my eyes I set all my reading apps to black to reduce eye strain
Just work on some things like the main home page needs updating
It would also be nice for those that have accounts to receive updates or notifications when our favorite authors have new content

Love the Dark Mode, the same option for the Home page would help. The transition back and forth is not easy at night.
So is there more to the story? He is living my dream. Sadly I am to "old" (almost 64) with multiple health issues but that is something my husband and I talked about doing when we were first married almost 45 years ago. He too, had health issues. But I love watching show like Rehab Addict and the one that Chip & Joanna Gaines used to do. There are others but I can't remember them anymore. Anyway, I will definitely be interested in trying dark mode. Great idea!

Thank you so much for adding this functionality. It will make reading these stories on my mobile device much easier now because I prefer dark theme and I’d have to drop out of dark mode just to turn a page. Much better now! Thanks!
