Great story although I would have loved to have read that in the divorce, his wife had learned of the existence of the fund and her lack of entitlement to any portion of the proceeds. 5 Stars.

Nice story! It ended on a hopeful note for the MC and Donna. Nothing more is needed, in my opinion. Five stars, and sorry I can't give it more stars.
Abruptly truncated. There’s so much available for a complete ending that it’s a shame the author didn’t finish it. 4 stars for an otherwise fantastic story.

Dammit, I wanted to read about her fainting when she found out he was worth forty million. Oh well, it was still a really good story, just about half a page too short.

I enjoyed this story but only gave you three stars. As usual it seems like you rushed then conclusion, I believe you could get at least another chapter out of this story.
A good story,unfortunately You made your MC spinless.You made him lose respect and his integrity (obviously you gave him no pride) by making him put up with her affairs,especially with everybody knowing about her affairs for all the years. You also made him an idiot,he learned nothing. That egg money should never be disclosed to any wife,just discreetly used as needed.Something many men have learned the hard way. Also many have also learned 'love' guarantees nothing..In todays society a prenup is simply a wise choice for both parties.I know for myself,though I am happily married, the only reason I would get married now days is for the want of kids. Prenup mandatory...ARM

While it wasn't the classic BTB, it did end well for the MC. Just think he should have dumped the cheating slut much sooner and let her divorce him before having sex with Donna. Just because his wife is cheating doesn't make it right for him to while he is still married. Liked the story.
In the USA, it is always the higher ranked employee that is let go, not the underling.
I generally like RG’s stories, but this one is an exception. Why would any self respecting guy put up with her slutty behaviour for so long? He had nothing to lose by getting rid of the bitch so much sooner. Second problem is that he starts an affair of his own before getting quit of his marriage. If you want to move on, then do it in the right order!
Meh. 3.5 stars. As others noted, this story had major problems: (1) he was effectively wasting his life married to her for no reason whatsoever (and the worry about losing the egg money was moot since the end of story clearly said it was protected in divorce). (2) he had clear and great blackmail material but let her steal ALL their marital assets he was entitled to in a divorce, (3) basically ZERO punishment for her (being fired from the hospital just to get another cushy well paid job isn't exactly "punishment".
it was a very good story with nice twists but no emotional depth, no sense of a loved one lost even by accounting the time line.....keep trying still 5/5
good story, would like to read about the wailing and gnashing of teeth when the slut finds shes not worth az much as she thought, her reputation is further in the gutter and hubby is wealthy beyond her wildest fantasies. i would have liked to read RG version of her gnashing of teeth, wailing and protestations of love during the divorce. Previous commenters have it right where they complain slut wasnt punished much being allowed to take everything but nest egg, thats not realistic even when one is done w/ everything to do w/ a wife to be x. Also knew she was cheating long before the xmas vaca tripw/ a lover, why was he not getting all the cheating facts together, again unrealistic. In general not close to RG's best. rk

It's like reading about a bunch of emotionless robots. Neither your MC nor the cheating wife nor even the rebound gf read like real people.
Many think they are experts when judging others but can be clueless about their own lives (for the comment section). A good tale RG but my favorite remains 'Survived By'. Thank you.

My grandparents lived on a farm, having been in the depression grandpa was cheap. He sent all 9 kids to college (if they wanted) but as late as 1970 they still had and used a privy and never a new car. All those years grandma saved her egg money! She bought a new car and a house in town. Grandpa had a choice - farm or town. Any wonder grandma was NEVER amused when anyone mentioned their anniversary, April 1st.
