Thoroughly loved it. Biased to your exposition as I'm a Cali native, raised in the Bay Area & a wine enthusiast that also knows the difference between Merlot & Cab, but prefers Zin. Lol! Kudos!!!

I've made several trips to that part of the country through the years, and fell in love with the whole Napa-Sonoma-Russian River-Point Reyes vibe. And the wine tasting rooms, of course! Spending some time in SF by taking the Larkspur ferry over and back. Good times, great memories. It's pretty clear to me that you and I have traveled many of the same highways and byways around the country....
And the story was excellent, as usual. It feels a bit like a coda to the Epiphanous series, wrapping up a few dangling ends. Many thanks for your continuing contributions to this site!
I have been critical of the sense and morality of both David and Marilyn and other characters of yours in this saga but this was excellent. Well done.

I would like to read the background to fully appreciate this story.
Good story. Not sure why the Arrangement had any bearing on the story. I guess despite their alll encompassing true love, their libido were so high and they were so sexually compatible when together that when separated one or both would have cheated. Maybe makes sense given their age. I also wonder how virtually every guy Pam has sex with has a big package. Really? Good luck with those odds. An 8 inch prick is in the top almost 1%. So what are the odds that she has trusts with like dozens of them over the years that are 8 inches or bigger? Really? And ignoring tiresome tropes their is essentially no correlation between size of a person ("young beefcakes") and the size of their equipment. So she must have a sixth sense radar so she can get piledriven each time. Also stamina and even some technique pales in comparison to time spent with a lover to maximize orgasms (frequency, intensity). At least the jerk Jim got a couple years in prior
To discovery. Then again thrill and illicit sex can be a big aphrodisiac. I wish Pam well. She found a new true love. Her first husband died serving his country far too early. Glad she found a reason to love and hope again. But the litany of amazing sex trusts makes me wonder about her detective skills landing hot sex virtually all the time with massive endowed guys. Again btw why the Arrangement? Is this holdover from Epiphanius Wives? And which story is David and Marylynn take place in?
Pam was a bit of a slattern. Her depth of character seemed limited to her high opinion of herself and letting her vagina breathe. At the rate she and her circle of acquaintances commingled body fluids, they could easily be ground zero for an epic outbreak of STI’s. Antibiotic access would be critical.
