For a story tagged “hareit,” this is setting up some good interpersonal drama.

one thing I disliked about a lot of haremlit is how flat many of the characters seem. So I've worked hard to craft them as more three dimensional and to give them real personalities and have enough that you care about them hopefully as much as Mitchell. They're part of a team and each of them has a role to play. No fluff or sex dolls in this story.

I am really enjoying this series. I realize this is Literotica, where Bob and Ted begin bumping uglies with Carol & Alice after two or three paragraphs attempting to explain who they are, but it so refreshing to read characters developing. I love a slow burn.

This chapter in some ways felt almost like very fast character development, but also makes sense with months of knowing each other and trauma those in.

I was a bit surprised at the mutual willingness to die for each other. Seems fine with the context but thought it worth mentioning.

This was definitely a pleasant interlude for all parties involved...well, except for Lethelin.

Well, thanks for that; I've binged this story up to this point and now I'm a bit depressed that I have to wait for the next chapters (grumble-grumble). I suppose those are the hazards of enjoying a well-written, addictive story... things could be worse though. Not so patiently waiting on the next chapter(s). 5/5*

I disagree that it was immersion breaking. It was one quick comment and was just part of the room description. I would consider it immersion breaking if the character reacted to seeing the three shells.
