Five stars. I loved the the economic implications of their deus ex machina, and the allusions to Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, and the contrast between Lily (genuinely!) getting confused by the child lock and then whipping out her software PM expertise on Martin.
Only downside: no financial modeling / designer shoes puns in this chapter.
Nice work on the Jessica Rabbit quote :-) There will be more as we go through and Lily absorbs more and more of the story multiverse around her
Intriguing series... The interesting question is the rules they have to follow... Where are their limitations on what they can and can't do? If they can do just anything, it'll be the challenge of the idle rich... Superman syndrome.
Lily toying with poor Martin because, maybe, she's learning that having a femme fatale body is not everything... Or maybe she still thinks it is? The question if what's going on in her head...
Ref to Wonderland universe... Good tie-back to your previous works, but well-done new readers can follow this without that backstory...
I anticipate another powerhouse from the oneagainst...
